What a spot!! absolute beachfront, high up on the hill overlooking the beach. We booked for our wedding night, but hosts were flexible with an early check in so the bridal party could get ready. Don't book if you don't like listening to the roar of the ocean when it's windy, but if you find it soothing like us, then it's perfect! Nice stairs down to the sand, perfect for a walk, and a nice deck area. The undercover area with fire is so nice for that bad weather but wanting a cosy spot to relax. I have zero complaints, place was spotless, nicely laid out and great parking. We are local to the Pukehina area, but if we ever need to book somewhere there again, this will be first on this list! Our stay at Lynley’s place was absolutely incredible. The entire space was absolutely spotless and well stocked for a comfortable stay. We were able to make ourselves comfortable while on our travels with the beautiful outdoor space, spacious kitchen and living spaces. Sitting in the backyard you feel at peace in a beautifully decorated and private space. There are also great amenities, clean and functional kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty to go and see in the area and a great local town in Thames for shopping and food so it is a great central location for your travels. The hosts were super friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. We cannot recommend Lynley’s place enough, it is a beautiful place which you will find yourself wanting to visit again!

Beautiful pristine brand new house. Everything was better than expected. Huge modern master suite. Shame we couldn’t stay longer.

It was a good fit for our whole family, including our small dog. The location was a highlight, with the beach just a short walk away. The living area was cosy and worked really well for relaxing and watching movies on the rainy days.

Our big family had a great stay at Nathan’s place over the Easter weekend. There was lots to do including a hot tub, pool, dartboard, tennis court and games. Best yet, it is also home to lots of sheep and some chickens! During our stay we were able to enter the chicken coop and pick fresh eggs in the morning! Very lovely home and 100% would go back again.

We had a great stay at Ya's place. There was more than enough room for us all. A lovely well set up home that was very spacious and comfortable. Having 5 kids there ranging in age from 3-11 was a breeze at Ya's place - with a separate lounge area where the kids could hang out and watch a movie. Also a great little playground round out the front - we could be in the kitchen or lounge and still have eyes on the kids. Beds were very comfortable, lovely quality bedding and towels etc. Ya was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend her gorgeous place!

Annette was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and accommodating. The apartment is exactly as described. There’s a modern kitchen and bathroom and the bed is comfortable. Thank you for having us Annette!

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Their house is incredibly cozy and truly feels like home. John, in particular, is always so accommodating, warmly welcoming us every time we return after a long drive. 😊 We absolutely love both the location and the house itself—it’s peaceful, serene, and incredibly relaxing. We’re already looking forward to staying there again on our next trip up north. 😁❤️

Fabulous apartment. Spotlessly clean. Was lovely to meet Cheryl and Mark, who gave us some great tips on places to visit. We went to Bowentown and went to the top, the views were stunning. Loved the special touches like cereal, toast, toppings and milk, much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was very good. Cheryl's garden was beautiful and you could actually hear the waves whilst sitting with our morning coffee. Just a short walk to the beach too. Absolutely recommend and would love to return.

The perfect place for our family holiday. With two under 5 and this being our first family of 4 holiday it was a great comfort to arrive and see they'd put out items to help the kids ease into the new space. A kiddy table and chairs, toys, books. The extra touch was really appreciated and helped the kids feel at ease right away. The place was spotless. Couldn't fault it.

What a lovely place to stay and the location is super close to the beach. Jackson is an awesome host. Great communication and very helpful. Hope to stay here again when we’re visiting Tauranga.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We were surprised at how spacious and big the rooms were and also the bathrooms were spotless clean and glad there was a bathtub to bathe our daughter. The area was quiet and peaceful as well. The comms were easy going which made our stay a breeze. Once we arrived, Grant came by to introduce himself and also checked if we needed anything which was so welcoming. Thank you for making our stay a great experience.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

A great central location with all you need in the apartment. Thoughtful touches with the Christmas decorations and also quiet despite being in a busy complex of apartments.

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

We had a fabulous time thank you for having us Barry. The apartment is in a great location and the kitchen is well catered for with appliances and provisions for self catering. Having stayed at the Mount for many years this year would have to be the highlight, great weather, great location and the pool was an absolute treasure especially for my husband who is English and isn’t particularly fond of the beach. I would recommend this as a location for people who are wanting a holiday at the beach but if it is windy or a bit cold can enjoy a swim in the pool. Regards Jackie

We had a very nice time in a very vibrant part of town a little noisy but fun, it is an apartment so not all rooms have windows and our host was fun and very friendly

Place was neat, tidy and clutter free. Had everything we needed for a family, which was so helpful. The location was convenient with Mcdonalds, cafe, dairy and more all right there. Sienna was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay.

Easy to locate and access. Very clean and well set out. The kitchen provided a selection of appliances and everything you needed for this space. Comfortable lounge furniture to relax while catching up. Primo sized bedrooms, one with a onsuite and 2nd bathroom was great. The bedroom with single beds did not have any towel or flannel, borrowed one from room next door. The trains seemed to be busy throughout the night, otherwise perfect for the 3 of us overnight, thank you Aleanna this apartment is well kept and presented. Ngā mihi - Teresa

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.
