Matagorda beach vacation rentals

Perfect location, right on the beach. Home had the perfect layout for multiple guests - 6 bedrooms/6 baths - and entertaining. Would definitely rent again! Thank you!!

Our family stayed for 2 nights and we had little kids, 6 and 4. The kids love waking up and able to get downstairs and started fishing right away. Quiet neighborhoods. Boi was very responsive and friendly.

The RV I rented (in the picture) wasn't available but Derick brought in another RV and parked it right in front of the bay (as shown in his other listing). The location upgrade was fantastic and I really appreciated Derick's efforts to accommodate my stay. The RV was once again spotless and comfortable. A/C and heat worked great. Easy to find and so very peaceful and quiet there. Highly recommend a stay with Derick!

We had a great stay at Casa Surfside. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Quality appliances and kitchenware that made cooking easy. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Comfy furniture. Loved all the beach gear and toys for the kids! The location was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here!

This is the third time our family has stayed at the beautiful Dolphins Beach Cottage. When it's available, we stay nowhere else but this home. We're already planning our next stay there. The home has plenty of room for 10-12 people. We usually have 9 people with two dogs and its plenty of room. This trip was a little different than usual as we started our stay on the 16th of July, less than a week and a half or so after Surfside took a direct hit from a hurricane. Tom communicated frequently with me leading up to check in and answered promptly when i had a question about the status of the home. Fortunately, the home sustained little damage and Tom had it ready to go for our stay. The house is situated perfectly on the beach with a shared walkway directly onto the beach. You can't beat the proximity of this home to the water. From the door to the beach in under a couple of minutes dragging a wagon full of beach stuff. Thanks again, Tom. Another amazing stay. Lets do this again!

Linda was a great host - right by the beach. This was without a doubt the cleanest beach home we've ever been to!

This place was nice and quiet. I stayed there for two weeks during my night hitch, and it was peaceful. There is a lovely little private BBQ area as well. I will definitely rent there again when I am in the area.

Enjoyed our stay. Place has everything we needed for a family weekend getaway. It’s right around the corner from Stanley’s and just down the road from the beach. Loved it!

We loved staying here and Steve was a great host! There were some plumping issues (something apparently the city has struggled with since the hurricane) but Steve was so responsive and helpful and had it fixed in no time! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing beach weekend!

I highly recommend John's place for your next stay. The spacious, fenced-in yard and well-equipped, generously sized home exceeded our expectations. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring a comfortable stay for our family with no complaints. The view was incredible with the beach just steps away, and we cannot wait to return!

We celebrated a family birthday in this lovely beach home. It has a fantastic location - just steps from the beach, with great views of the ocean from the decks and front windows. Hosts provided all necessary amenities including bed linens, and bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Terry and Katherine communicated well and were prompt to respond. We felt safe in this community and would definitely stay here in the future.

Melissa’s place had everything we needed. It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean or relax in the cozy living room and watch a movie. We enjoyed walking down the beach and ate at The Seahorse Grill several times. I recommend their queso and coconut shrimp.

This is our second time staying at the house and it was just as amazing at two years ago. I loved watching the sunrise on the front deck with coffee (they have normal coffee pot and Kurig). The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean. Carla was helpful and responsive with questions. We also loved the sunsets from the back deck. There were tons of mosquitos, so be prepared with OFF!!

What i love about surfside how quiet and peaceful it is and the water is clear nothing like the big city like galveston and dirty water and this home was extremely spacious and loved how tall the ceilings were ! They had a playpen and several baby things which was extremely helpful for our stay with our infant ! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody !

Tk was a wonderful & responsive host! Our originally booked place was in poor condition. Tk took our reservation for the next day, letting us check-in early. The house was perfect for our group. There's plenty of room for a large family. The dining tables are ideal for board & card games. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, varied pots & pans, & was easy-to-use. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Tk let us know the city water wasn't usable for cooking and drinking (maybe because of the recent hurricane?). I would say, it's not great for bathing either. We ended up using gallon bottles for hair & hands. This house had quick easy access to the beach. The beach had other visitors but was never crowded. Everyone was responsible & respectful (no crazy music or drunken behavior). It was a very family friendly area. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the slower pace in Surfside!

Great place for our family to gather for a fishing weekend! Comfy couches in the living room with a huge TV. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. Delicious selection of coffee pods provided for us! AC was wonderfully refreshing during the hottest weekend of the year. Bathrooms were big. We had a fun time driving down the road to flounder and crab. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Tanja’s place was amazing. The rooms were very cozy and by far some of the best sleep I had while visiting. There was plenty of parking space. The home was very clean and comfortably accommodating. It felt like a home away from home.

Our stay at the Lodge was super awesome as always. Place was as described and then some! Thank you Mr. Lucas for your awesome hospitality our stay was satisfying and accommodating.We look forward to future occasions with yall!!🙂👍👍
