Vacation rentals with a patio in Mata de Plátano

Our stay was perfect for our one night stop in Luquillo! The apartment was very nice, clean and accommodating close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Also very safe building! I definitely would recommend this apartment!

The apartment is very wonderfully furnished and feels very welcoming. Great renovations - especially the sliding glass doors to the balcony from the bedroom. It provided a great view every morning. Walkable to a nice cozy restaurant, Panderri. Across the street is a nice supermarket, Amigo. The staff in the lobby and the gate are always willing to give great recommendations. The apartment is perfectly situated right by the beach and in the midpoint to El Yunque and Fajardo (marinas for trips to other islands like Culebra, Vieques, and Icacos). Really loved the apartment and hope to return very soon.

Ralph's place was exactly as described. My Son and I stayed there from Friday to the following Saturday. It was a week of paradise. Being able to wake up and see the beach and hear the roosters was amazing. At night, listening to the coquís was amazing. The home was clean and well lit. His instructions and recommendations were great. I already started looking at his availability to stay at the end of the year. Hopefully, a week or two will open up. I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Ralph, for making our stay a memorable one. I miss it already.

It was a great place to stay, fantastic views! Had beach chairs and a cooler which was convenient and the condo was updated. Felt very secure with gated parking and a front security desk for the building.

The Airbnb is close to everything, easy to find and Yamal is always at your service.

Loved staying here! The apartment was so comfortable and clean. The view was amazing. We had parking, good food, a beautiful place to stay, kioskos down the road for good food and memories we'll never forget. 10/10 I would recommend 🙂

The place was a gem. Everything was clean and neat- easy to find and the beach was a block away. I liked the fact it was a bit more on the quieter side and you weren’t in the center of the city but close enough to drive it. I would love to stay here again— and they were super responsive when we had an issue (locking ourselves out of the apartment— shoutout to Lydia and Airbnb customer service for helping us get back in) The only thing that we actually found amusing were the stray cats! There were so many and they would stand by the door trying to get into the house (the gray cat especially) we loved the cats but def had a moment where we felt a bit ganged up by them when they smelled the food we had (all fun though) we would suggest doing something about that. Other than that- 10/10 love it and would recommend everyone to check out

Excellent view and good location. Well appointed apartment. Sara and her local property manager were both exceptionally responsive, working together to address a couple hiccups as quickly and effectively as possible. We had a power outage our first night (a regular occurrence here that one must be prepared to accept), and when we went to open a window to get some air in the bedroom, we discovered a dead and very smelly bird in the outer part of the window sill. We alerted Sara about this and her property manager worked diligently to find a handyman (on a Sunday!) to come clean it up for us. We visited El Yunque in the meantime. The handyman was very thorough and then we got power back that evening. But…the outage fried the outdoor compressor for the AC units, so we still had no AC. Since we were only there 2 nights, we just used the oscillating fans that were on hand in the apartment and it was fine for our second night. Sara gave us a small but thoughtful credit for the inconvenience.

Beautiful home in Luquillo! Marilyn was very helpful throughout our stay and they had a lot to make us comfortable when traveling with 2 little kids. Ness were comfortable, well stocked kitchen and the playground outside of the back patio was so nice to be able to relax while our oldest played. I loved the proximity to El Yunque national forest and there were grocery stores close by that had everything you needed. Nice short walk to the beach access. Would recommend this place to stay in Luquillo!

We had a great one week stay. When we arrived we found water, coke and beer in the fridge waiting for us. It was a nice welcome. The house is spacious and has Air Conditioning which was great. The washer/dryer was a great help. Extras in the house included beach chairs, beach towels and coolers. There was an island-wide power outage where over 1million people lots power including us. The hosts brought over a generator and we were able to plug in the fans that were in the house. Luckily the power came on 12hours later. Its in a safe location and a very spacious house.

Really enjoyed staying at this home. Very quiet neighborhood yet minutes from the beach and many restaurants. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful home that accommodated our family of 5. 💛 It’s in a great location that’s close to everything—main road in & out of Luquillo, beaches, restaurants, grocery store & nearby attractions. It is a well-kept home with a spacious & yard/patio in a quiet neighborhood. Our host Alina was extremely responsive & helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommend.

I am so glad i found this beautiful stay in luqillo! I hope to make puerto rico a more frequent vacation destination & this stay at Ricardos will be my too pick! House was beautiful spacious even had a washer and dryer which was so convenient on our last day. We did a lot of excursions so we had a bunch of wet clothes. We stayed up all night in the back patio which was beautiful homey and comfortable! Absolutely loved this home & cant wait to be back. Its close to all excursions around, jet skiing, horse back and atv. San juan is decently close also! Easy drive and nicely secluded.

The place is beyond beautiful, peaceful and quiet. You only here the sound of nature and the view is something else. In the morning seeing the rise of the sun was for me specular. Lovely getaway if you want to be out of the hussle of the city and town. Melvin was very responsive to my needs. Definitely would go back to stay, but for more time.

El alojamiento cubre todas las necesidades básicas para disfrutar de unas vacaciones en familia. Todas las áreas del hogar son cómodas y organizadas. 🍃 Si quieres disfrutar de Luquillo, Río Grande y otros pueblos limítrofes es un excelente hospedaje, ya que todas las actividades quedan cercanas al alojamiento. 🚘 PD: A segundos de “Kioskos de Luquillo” para disfrutar de la gastronomía puertorriqueña y a unos minutos de “El Yunque” para hacer una caminata pacífica dentro del bosque. 🥟🍹🌳 💯% RECOMENDADO.

David’s place was actually amazing, everything was exactly how he described it and also the pictures are accurate. It was a cozy home for sure, 8 min drive to Walmart and very close to the beach. He had all the kitchen utensils needed. And all bathroom necessities. There’s ac all over the house, there were beach accessories as well. All in all this experience was amazing would stay here again! Also the shower pressure was really good.

Prior to booking the host was responsive & answered all my questions. Upon arrival the host left instructions for entry & provided information on nearby places to eat & visit. I was a taken aback by the exterior of the building, & the entryway to the front lobby, however once inside the condo I was relieved. The inside was beautiful. The shower didn’t get hot, however everywhere else the water temperature was fine. Overall my experience was awesome. Even the security at the front was helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay. We've had a great stay in Luquillo. Spacious apartment, equipped with everything you might need, located on the top floor (great terrace!) just by the beach. Highly recommended!

We had another lovely stay here in Liquillo! We enjoyed it so much last year we returned again this year. The apartment is in a great location, easy to get to the shops, restaurants, kiosks and surrounding areas. We really enjoy swimming at the beach and using the pool and having everything easily accessible. The apartment was spacious and great for even having a few meals in! We had a really lovely family stay here again! Thanks for having us!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Playa Azul! Jer was a wonderful and attentive host. Many necessities were provided (beach chairs, dinnerware, small cooler) which came in handy. Thanks for the memories!

Wilnia’s place was perfect for our vacation to PR. We enjoyed being so close to everything with it being centrally located to el yonque rainforest, fajardo and San Juan. So many places are within walking distance! The beach across the condo is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend Sama for a nice dinner! And also Simple Food for breakfast.

Beautiful beachfront property! The rooms were super clean and the balcony views were my favorite. If you’re a light sleeper just being earplugs because you’re right next to the ocean and wildlife, we loved it though. Central to the kiosks, el yunque, and not too far from the ceiba ferry. We loved it and will definitely rebook!

I visit Puerto Rico all the time. And this apartment was amazing for my stay. The host is very responsive. The check-in process is simple and easy to understand. The apartment was very accurate to the description. Super clean, spacious and comfortable. AC worked well. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay here and would love to come back someday. Beautiful rooftop view. We also really enjoyed the lush tropical forest from the terrace. Super easy access to the beach. Bed was comfortable. Mary was responsive and a joy to work with. Only suggestions would be a few additions to the kitchen: larger coffee maker, a whisk, and cocktail shaker 🙂
