Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mata de Plátano

Place was nice and roomy. Lots of space! We had enough room for our one friends to show a few of the couples in our group how to swing dance. View in the front and back of the place were awesome, especially of the rainforest in the back! Things to know: Lots of mosquitoes, make use of the zappers provided! Air conditioner in the kitchen doesn’t do a great job of keeping that area and the dining area cool. Everywhere else, the a/c worked great! 1 bathroom has no hot water, and during our a stay, a second bathroom was also unable to get hot water. So, the only bathroom with hot water was in the master bedroom, which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t that much of a problem except for night showering. During the day, the sun must have kept the ground so warm that the water was still lukewarm and not too cold. You may get suddenly told about scheduled landscape and other maintenance techs that you will have to leave the gate unlocked for them to get in.

My family had a great time here (2 adults and 2 kids ages 13 and 7). The place is very clean! It's a gated community and the 24/7 security guard made us feel very safe here. Marylin was very responsive and gave us some recommendations on places to eat. The beach supplies were very useful (beach towels, beach toys, chairs and wagon). Washer/dryer was nice to have and laundry detergent was provided. We only cooked breakfast, but the kitchen is fully stocked with lots of dishes, cups, utensils, cooking pots, cooking utensils and coffee! The only thing we didn't have was salt/pepper but I used the ones I got from takeout food. Would definately stay here again if we come back to Puerto Rico!

The home is in a great location with stores close by and a few minutes away from the Luquillo Kiosks.

Our stay was lovely. The house was perfect for our family of 5, and it was full of amenities. It had all the extras to make a very comfortable stay and was stocked with coffee and kitchen items which was appreciated! The beach access gate is right there, a few houses away. The pool is a couple streets over, but just a few minute walk. We really enjoyed both, as well as the area being quiet and not crowded. The host was super responsive for a few issues we came across. We rarely return to the same place twice, but would stay here again in an instant!

We really enjoyed Tamara place! Easy to get to once you figure out google! Google Maps Sea Breeze House will take you directly there! Short trip to the beach in Luquillo, and the restaurant strip. For pizza we recommend a new little shop Pizza Stone - amazing garlic knots and pizza! Amigo groceries right around the corner had a great selection! And Walmart delivered prior to our arrival! We spent time at the rain forest, and then traveled to La Parguera for snorkeling, fishing and bio bay swim! Private boat rental with airbnb travel help! We cannot wait to visit again.

What can I say! Everything about this house was amazing!!! We had a bad experience with another house and decided to cancel and relocate houses. Alex responded quickly to the request and even allowed an early check-in!! The house is beautiful and has a great set up!! When vacationing with small kids clothes accumulates fast and thankfully there was a washer and dryer! Location to the beach and kioskos was super close, as well as to El Yunque!! Great house, great host!! 10 out of 10 for sure

What a killer place to stay for the week. Incredible pool and patio area and so close to so many great spots. Quick and cheap Ubers to anywhere you want to go if you don’t want to drive.

This was our second time staying at Sonia's place in Solimar. The fact that we returned should tell you that we love it. The neighborhood is beautiful, well-kept, has a great pool, and the beach is easily accessible. The house was perfect for our family of 5. The pack-and-play was set up and waiting for us when we arrived, the AC worked great, the backyard patio area was as charming as always, and everything worked perfectly. I'm sure we'll be back again someday!

Excellent location and place! Great amenities, pool, basketball, racket ball court. 2 min walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. Clean and safe neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hosts! From the beginning the communication was great. They informed us on all the things to do in the area which was so nice of them. Instructions for the house were clear, everything was clean and taken care of. Even when the island lost power, they were on top of getting us taken care of and kept in touch with us the whole time. The stay was amazing. Perfectly located. The beach was beautiful. Definitely surpassed our expectations! We will be back!

Our stay in Torres’ AirBnb exceeded our expectations. Our experience was great from beginning to end. Torres was a responsive host, the location was excellent and the house was exceptional providing all the necessary amenities, additional game room, pool view was fantastic and it felt peaceful and safe. This is a place I can see coming again and again. I have already recommended it to my family and friends.

This place was very clean and every room was very spacious, We really enjoyed that. Near the beach, great for walks. Plenty of restaurants with great food. Recommend Simple Food and Coffee Therapy for breakfast and great food at La Fonda Gourmet. 30 minutes to airport. Location was great. Very easy to communicate with Francisco and answered within a few minutes. The place was so accommodating that we are going to book again in a few months. Thank you for everything. Gracias.

This place was perfect! The home was very clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Omar was very responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. Each bedroom was clean and the AC felt great after hot days in the sun. The pool was nice and the neighbors were friendly. The location on the beach was unbeatable! I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Luquillo.

The Airbnb was exactly as described! It was the perfect location, a few steps from the beach, he had beach chairs and beach towels available. Only a five minute drive from the kiosks. The host was very responsive & kind.

I loved the place Marie was very kind at all times whenever I had a question or wanted to tell you something. She answered me quickly. The house has many CAMs. It is very large and I loved the pool. I recommend it to everyone so that they spend a few pleasant days with their family

Staying at Sylvia’s place with family was definitely worthwhile! I highly recommend it for anyone traveling with children, as there's a room filled with toys and games and a yard to hangout as well.
