This house is absolutely gorgeous. We loved staying here and want to live in it. We had a family wedding nearby and this house was perfect for our needs, but it’d be wonderful for entertaining too. I wish we had a longer stay to use that amazing kitchen and inviting fire pit. 11/10 would stay again Ps. Put on the record player, sit on the patio with the flickering fire like porch lights and relax in one of the rockers. The best end to our lovely evening.

Beautiful old home. Each room had a designated bathroom and private. Plenty of space to gather. Wonderful outdoor seating. Customer service was sweet, responsive and patient with me. I'm eager to have our Thanksgiving holiday there. I loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch, all while crocheting and soaking up the peace. Loved my visit. I hate we didn't make it a longer trip. ❤️

Perfect place to get away. Natural beauty at its finest. Plan to get in and stay awhile, this place is truly out in nature. Comfortable, with everything you need for a great stay. This is the perfect place for family reunions. Swimming pool, rec. hall, BBQ pits... The house had strong AC, really comfortable beds, convenient towels, basic necessities and a well stocked kitchen. Every bedroom has its own bathroom making the stay much easier with a large group of 11. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Great location for a single family or larger group. We rented both the bunkhouse & a tiny house across the street from each other. The river is just down the hill and the views are beautiful. Both units were very clean and stocked with all the amenities listed. The beds were comfortable. The internet was sketchy due to the remote location, but streaming services worked & they had a collection of DVD’s in both units. I would definitely recommend staying at Dos Rios RV Park & hope to return soon.

The floor was sticky. Aside from needing a good sweep and mop, everything was great. Tammy, the co-host was responsive and made sure we had what we needed. She also kept a close eye on the entire RV park!

Staying in cabin 12 was great! The pictures 100% matched with what was given! The river was beautiful and had an excellent view from the sunset as well as the sunrise! The kitchen and grill were very helpful as we did cook! They did provide a great amount of recourses In the kitchen! There was also a grocery store about 5 minutes away from the cabin as well as gas and a dollar general. My overall stay was a 10/10! Colin and Tammy were great host and very helpful with any questions we had!

What an awesome stay at Dos Rios. This was our first time so we didn't know what to expect, and we are so glad we spent the weekend here. The Adventure Outpost cabin looked a little tight for our family of 4, but it work out great. We have 2 kids (6 & 9) that were able to share the "pull out couch" comfortably, but it would have been hard for them to both fit if they were older. Otherwise the cabin was perfect. Easily walkable to the river to swim and fish, but we ended up driving our car to the other side of the river and had an amazing couple of days playing on the water. I would recommend having a 4x4 vehicle if you want to park close to the river on the other side, not sure if a 2WD vehicle could make it out. We ate dinner at James River Icehouse, awesome vibe and amazing food! The Eckert James River Bat Cave preserve was a really cool experience. The river crossing looked daunting but was shallow and easy. All in all, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!
