Very nice spot for a cute getaway! It was very private. Close to cute spots and touristic attractions. I totally recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Melanie's cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. (bottle of wine was a nice touch) Melanie was very responsive to our questions and responded right away. The cottage is on a busy street but is relatively quiet when you are on the beautiful front deck. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area.

We planed a last minute trip to visit Nova Scotia. Originally from surrounding areas, but moved to Ontario and haven’t been back for many years. This cottage was perfect for all our needs. Had everything we needed and then some. The host was extremely responsive. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cottage.

Joseph’s place is a charming cottage situated a short drive from downtown Halifax, extremely close to grocery stores. It sits on a picturesque cove with unobstructed views of the rugged landscape and water. The cottage has every amenity one could want, including a hot tub. My husband and I enjoyed sharing a glass of wine under the stars while listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. Our family enjoyed sharing time together in the living areas and preparing a meal together in the well equipped kitchen. The beds were incredibly comfortable! We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy all the hiking trails and sightseeing in the area.

This adorable and extremely well laid out cottage was fantastic. Lots of room, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and inviting. Also a beautiful location and very relaxing. Cant wait to go back

Herring Hole was a beautiful choice! You can’t go wrong! From spacious surroundings, to cozy decor and an inviting deck overlooking the bay, to a genuine experience of a small coastal fishing village, this place checked all the boxes!! It’s about a 25 minute drive to Halifax but the scenery is beautiful so time travels by quickly! We would book this place again without any further thought! Kim even had freshly ground coffee available for our morning coffees on the deck!

Jessica and Adam were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everything was easy and relaxing. Jessica quite responsive and helpful; she went above and beyond. Although we did not partake during this visit, the ocean saltwater hot tubs looked amazing! Outdoor fire pits/apparatus with outdoor seating also a bonus. The site is on the ocean with a lovely private sand beach with provided lounge chairs. There is a wharf-type breakwater on the property, which was lovely.

This Airbnb is spectacular!! The views, location, the house, peacefulness and your host (Kit) all a 10/10!! I can’t say enough about our stay here. Will definitely be coming back to visit and highly recommend !!

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Great communication great service. We were there longer than most, but it was a very comfortable cottage.

We felt right at home at this place. The home is exceptionally well taken care of from the thoughtful decor to the clean and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Our family had so much fun in the lake and really appreciated all the floaties, life jackets, and the paddle board. The location was very private and peaceful. The home was also full of extra thoughtful touches such as plenty of kids toys and even some sealed gluten free products in the kitchen which we greatly appreciated as my wife has celiac disease. The best part of our trip was by far enjoying the home and its amenities!

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

It's a beautiful cottage and well equipped. It was absolutely spotless with some very nice touches, e.g. spare slippers, plenty of dog blankets and towels, an outside hose, loads of towels available, laundry detergent, outside laundry lines....There's plenty of green areas around so our dog could freely chase her ball. Myrtle quickly addressed all questions and issues. The local beach is only a couple of kilometres down the road, but with a stroller and a dog it was more convenient to drive rather than walk. We initially struggled to find the place, but it's at the far end of the village when coming from Parrsboro. Overall, it's a lovely place and we would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect rustic get-away! The kids had so much to do, and mom and dad had lots of space to relax. The diving dock was a hit (even in the cold) and kayaks were awesome! The boat washroom at the beach was such a nice touch and was super clean, the beach toys and kids toys in the cabin were great. I’m so thankful to have had an affordable place to unplug with my family- Thank you Keith and Sarah!!

We truly could not write a more raving review of Claudia and Dragonfly Dreams – 10s across the board! We were looking for a peaceful getaway to relax and de-stress and we got that and so much more. Claudia's cabin was so peaceful we slept 14 hours our first night! The cabin is absolutely perfect. No other properties are within sight, making this feel like you are in your own nature's paradise. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and even spices, and we enjoyed staying in and cooking all our meals. The bed was extremely comfy (obviously!). We enjoyed a wonderful canoe and swim as well. We had to save the best for last – Claudia! Having stayed at many Airbnbs around the world, Claudia is up there as the best host we've ever interacted with. She is so warm, kind and accommodating. She is extremely responsive to messages and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. We are so grateful for her and we will definitely be back one day! Don't hesitate to book!

Rob and Jacquie responded to our every question with professionalism and positivity. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed the lake the outdoor fire pit,the view, the kitchen. Laura’s place was like paradise. Relaxing, quiet, clean, felt like I was at home but away from home. She is without a doubt, the most responsive person I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb super accommodating, extremely kind. I can’t wait to book my next visit and I definitely cannot wait to go back there in the summertime. The downstairs was so much fun. I haven’t played pool in years Laura‘s places is also super modern and just absolutely stunning. I feel like I can’t say enough, everything was very easy to find. This place had everything you need. if you’re looking for a place to go relax with a beautiful view and have privacy, this is your spot.

What a beautiful property and house - situated right on the ocean above a tidal basin, with stunning views and sunsets, and a gorgeous deck with all amenitites, BBQ, and large comfortable outdoor couch. The garden below is also lovely, with bubbling creek running down to the sea and little stone bridge. Relaxation is a given in this place! The beds are super comfortable, with luxurious bedding and dreamy mattress (I think we will get ourselves an Endy!) Bathrooms on each level were squeaky clean with tons of drawer storage. It was a good situation for my 93-year old mom who has some mobility issues, as she could sleep in the main floor bedroom, with bathroom nearby too. Kitchen was small but functional and well-equipped. The cute town of Chester is only 10-15 mins drive away, with grocery stores, etc as well as some lovely little gift shops. We had a really nice time, thank you Greg!

This place is stunning! Within 5 minutes of arriving we knew this was going to be a great trip. Richie was very helpful and the arrival was smooth. The location is so picturesque; the view is amazing. The 3 beaches are completely private. The walk through the small path to the rocks was a great discovery and we spent time just sitting on the rocks enjoying the scenery. The house is beautiful and everything you could possibly need was provided. Even the towels were so soft and fluffy. The wood burning stove was a real treat on a chilly evening. The house is spotlessly clean and very well decorated. It’s a quiet area but not far from Peggy’s Cove or Halifax. Overall I can recommend this property enough. If Richie ever decides to sell I’ll be first in the queue. Overall a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Richie :)

My best friend, pups and I had a wonderful time at the lakeside cottage. It was so cute and the surroundings were incredible!

Our stay at Seafarers Hideaway was a truly memorable experience. The property has one of the most beautiful views we have ever encountered and it is extremely well appointed. They have thought of everything guests will need to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked as well as the bathroom. We absolutely loved the fireplace and enjoyed most evenings by the fire. When weather permitted we enjoyed the outdoor fire area and used the bbq most nights. The muskoka chairs are perfectly situated on various parts of the property and we enjoyed looking at Peggy’s Cove with the binoculars provided. We would highly recommend this property as it is an hours drive to Halifax, Lunenberg and Peggy’s Cove, with much of the drive along the ocean. We would love to return someday and treasure our first experience in Nova Scotia at Seafarers Hideaway. Krista and Ken
