The perfect weekend get away. Cabin is cozy and the location is private but close enough to town that it’s not a hassle to go and grab something to eat or run to the store. Absolutely loved our stay! Everything was so amazing. We were in the area for the state track tournament. While a little farther than we wanted to travel from the event, this place made up for any worries in that with its peaceful and private setting. All the extras for adult and child use in the yard was great. My boys loved every bit of this stay. While we only stayed a few days, we used everything we could and will definitely look to stay again.

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

There was 8 men from 62 to 75. Played golf all week, cooked at the cabin. Very private, comfortable, beautiful. We all loved this Airbnb. One of our best stays from FL to TN and back to Indiana. We've stayed in several Airbnb we loved this one. Thank you, Apolonia,

Have you ever wondered what a marina is like after it closes for the day? If so, then this is THE place to book. Although the exterior is modest, the inside wows! The balcony, with its phenomenal view of the lake, was a FANTASTIC place to have your morning coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, and there were thoughtful touches like amenity kits in the bathrooms. Stephen was very responsive and accommodating, and the manager, Jess, was wonderful and gave us some tips about events around town. It's conveniently located near Bloomington (we were in town for a graduation), but far enough away to avoid the crowds and the plethora of people. At night, the gate is locked, so it's just you enjoying the solitude. The only downside was our nav told us to go into the mobile home park across the street. If your nav says turn into an area with mobile homes, you actually need to go through the fenced-in area on the other side of the road.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the back deck and listening to the birds sing. This is a perfect place for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat in to nature. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We can't wait to come back!

Spent a IU football weekend here while visiting our daughter on campus. Quaint cabin in the woods that met all our needs. Chris’s instructions were very thorough. Only about 14 minutes from campus too. Great hiking in Hoosier national forest that was minutes away. Would be a wonderful place to stay also if you were doing a lake weekend over the summer.

Fantastic host and beautiful place. Definitely will stay there again. We’re coming back to catch “Fred”, which we lovingly named the HUGE catfish in the lake! Highly recommend!

Gary and Kris's house was amazing! The space was roomy and fun. It was well appointed and the kitchen had every pot or pan you could imagine. The deck is very nice and the view from it was serene. We saw lots of wildlife in the back and side yards and were able to catch fish right from the dock. It was easy to find and there's a lot that's close in case you forget anything. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Another great stay at Cabin #2. Super clean and comfortable. It’s easy to find, quiet and has good amenities with the coffee maker and mini fridge with freezer. The cabin still feels new. The tv is good size and the shower with shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and plenty of hot water were much appreciated after a day of driving. There’s extras provided with a hair dryer, blanket, kitchen table and two seats. I like there’s a luggage rack and bench inside along with a mini table on the front porch. The ceiling fan, dehumidifier and cold air conditioning kept the temps comfortable inside. The outside porch light was nice to have for safety. These cabins are a (not so) hidden gem and are kept really nice. I cannot recommend these properties and host May enough. Communication and instructions were clear and friendly. Thank you May for a wonderful stay and offering such great accommodations.

We love to stay at the cabin when we’re in Brown County. It’s peaceful and secluded while still close to Nashville and other sites. I super appreciate being able to take our little dogs, and we joke about the dogs thinking it’s our vacation house since they’ve been there enough times to feel comfortable right away.

We had an amazing stay at Terra’s cabin and will definitely be back again! The LARGE main living area is offset from the bedrooms (downstairs and on the opposite side of the house) which made for the ideal setup for us traveling with little kids - adults could talk and play games at night without worrying about waking kids. The spacious deck was also ideal for large family meals and nice and shady spot to just hang out on during the day. Very secluded but close to some great places to eat and five minutes from the lake/marina. Had everything we needed and Terra was a fantastic and super communicative/responsive host. 10/10!!

Absolutely love the house. I loved the view from the top decks. The waterfalls is very nearby and beautiful. I love the fact that we was able to book this place and keep our dog with us. Thats what sold us on staying here and the fishing for the kids. Very big bass in the pond. Good pass time with the family. Unfortunately the general store wasn't open. The lady was sick that runs it. Very nice community. Jeff did great with communication. Especially when i stupidly locked myself out of the house. I did accidentally check in early after 24 hours of no sleep to get from NC to IN. He was very nice about it, and it was no problem. I knew the water did not smell good from previous reviews. So no complaints there. I was just greatful to get this place last minute so we could be close to the club to compete in the UKC TOC. Very blessed to stay here.

Jonah’s place was great! We had the most relaxing time. The house is exactly as advertised, if not better. It’s beautiful and peaceful. It was very easy to baby-proof for our 18 month old. It was so easy to get into both Bloomington and Indianapolis for various activities we had planned. It was also fun to just hang out at the house. The steam shower was amazing. The laundry machines were helpful to have, especially with a toddler, and there was detergent and fabric softener available. There were plenty of towels, as well as extra blankets, which was nice as it was unseasonably chilly. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay again.

I received clear instructions that were helpful in finding the cabin and getting inside. We needed nothing after that, as the little cabin is well set up. It’s an adorable space, and even though it is nestled in between the YMCA and housing, it feels very private. It was warm and muggy during our stay, so we very much appreciated the dehumidifiers! Overall it was a very pleasant stay at the cabin while we visited family in Bloomington. Next time we’re in town, we want to rent the upstairs space just for a change of scenery!

Tim and Shane were extremely nice, and very welcoming. Showed us all the animals, and made us feel at home and very welcome. Overall was a phenomenal experience and would recommend this, and them, to anyone trying to experience a great weekend! More then what I was hoping for! And greatly exceeded expectations!!

My husband and stayed for a few days - the pictures and descriptions are accurate. The house is about 25 minutes to the town of Nashville, but it is a beautiful drive. It is very well maintained and is one of the cleanest vacation properties we have stayed at. We loved the quiet, remote area. The back deck has a pleasant view of the lake, which appears to be a nature preserve. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our nature-loving friends.

Such a peaceful and relaxing stay. I’m from Michigan and my partner is from Chicago! We drove up and loved how easy check-in and check-out were. Sitting by the creek felt like I was releasing old trauma, very healing and in tune with nature. It was my first time in the cabin. We adored the friendly cat by the fireplace. We also took a quick 45-minute trip to Indiana Beach and really enjoyed our stay!

This place was beautiful the wood finish was brethtaking just the weekend we needed the host was awesome they really did think of every detail me and my husband loved this place and would definitely stay here agin

Our family had the perfect, relaxing weekend. We had plans to do things in Indy, but ended up staying on the property with our 2 kids (<1 & 4) the entire time exploring and only left to bring back food. Mike went above and beyong with hospitality and made us feel at home. We definitely plan on coming back!

This secluded, woodsy retreat has a Northwoods feel in central Indiana. The host is very responsive and it’s only a 5-7 minute drive to DePauw.
