Vacation rentals with lake access in Mariestad Municipality

Emelie was a great host. We felt comfortable from the first moment and communication was very easy. The location of the house right on the lake was great. Bathing either on the “own” beach or from the bathing jetty 100 m away with a bathing island is great. Wonderfully quiet location and the whole day we could enjoy the sun on the spacious terrace. Our 2 week stay went by too quickly!

The property was excellent and exactly as described. We were a group of families who wanted an outing during the year-end holidays and this was a perfect spot for us. Enough number of separate bedrooms/beds as well as toilets that could easily accomodate a large group. At the same time, large kitchen and living area where you can spend time and dine together. The neighborhood was a nice walk along the canals. Quiet, nice and relaxing (perhaps due to the weather). Can imagine this place bustling with people during summers. The restaurant under the property was closed due to the holidays. The HotTub was a favorite amongst everyone. There was a provision for sauna nearby which we did not try. Tony and Fabian as hosts were quite responsive and helpful. Tony helped setup the HotTub, was very friendly in approach and very helpful with recommendations. Would love to visit here again in warmer months. Highly recommended!

Well-maintained and beautifully located house with porch with lake view and hiking trails just around the corner. The house is pleasantly furnished with well-equipped kitchen and amenities. Very nice surroundings that we unfortunately could not explore to the full due to lousy weather. Maybe another time!

Great place, here we had access to bikes, canoe, sauna, hot tub, trampoline, slide,swing and a game room in the basement. The host was quick to respond and welcomed us and was given a tour 😊 Thank you for a great stay 😊

Our check-in was flexible and at the same time we were warmly welcomed by the hostess's mom. We felt very comfortable in the place! It was clean and nicely (but also practically) furnished. We didn't miss anything. Nathalie even offered and set up a crib for our daughter 🌸 We loved staying here and would come back at any time! (One of the nicest homes we had in Sweden in this price range - and we had some☺️)

The place is perfect and the price is good. Marilouise is a nice person, helpful and flexible in adjusting and achieving what the best is for the guest. I really enjoyed staying in the place with a hope to repeating this experience again!

We just have five adults in this lovely house. It's peaceful and undisturbed even though an older lady lives next door. We didn't see or hear anything. The rooms are nice and cozy, the bathroom in really good condition. The kitchen of older date but in very good condition. We were missing nothing in the house everything we needed was there. We were allowed to borrow the boat which was absolutely amazing to sail in and really enjoy the surroundings from the water side. We got a gas grill over, which we really enjoyed spending time in the garden, where we sat and enjoyed the view of water right by the house as well as the sunset out over the lake. If you take a nice walk down past the boat harbor around there. Find the finest completely undisturbed little beach where you can swim. There are several opportunities for good walks in the nature in the area. We talked to Susanne who came and saw us if everything was okay, if we were missing anything. It was very lovely and cozy; and then I practiced my Swedish. She can speak English very well. We'll be back: -)

We were allowed to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden at Johann's and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was large enough for that. Johan decorated the house for Christmas especially for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. You could feel right at home. He was always available for questions and small problems and when the coffee maker was defective, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether it's exploring small villages in the area or hiking in national parks.

Was away with my team and fished 4 days. Emil's cabin was exactly what we want when we're away. Clean and tidy. And only 100 meters from the water. Emil was exemplary as a host. We will definitely stay here again.

Cozy, simple cabin/shed with sauna!

We had a wonderful time in this charming and typical Swedish cottage. In the middle of nature, it is very quiet and unspoilt. At the same time, everything you need is available. Just the thing for relaxing. Absolutely recommended! :-)

It’s a hidden gem of the area! It’s extremely cozy and makes you feel at home on a spot. There’re a lot of adorable details across the house that only somebody who cares for creating wholesome experience could add. The house feels bigger inside than it looks from outside. It’s easy to find and wifi works well. It was our getaway from the city so the walks around were magnificent and getting to the lake is less than 40min through the nature reserve. We also had a very good experience with getting all the tips from Sofie. She’s very communicative and eager to help. We wish to come again and use the charm of that little cottage once again!

We loved our stay at Angelica's space! The Jacuzzi was incredible and the view of the lake was perfect. Highly recommend staying here to enjoy some peace and quiet. Incredible space!
