Vacation rentals in María la Gorda

Dream location with your feet in the water. Simple but nice accommodation with good bedding. Very quiet, only the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep. The dinner and breakfast served were of quality.

Villa Azul is maybe the best place to stay in La Bajada. Communication beforehand was good, helped alot for diving. Good Information on spot are limited (and we can tell: there are moskitos and no nets). Food is good but sadly always the same (especially for vegetarians). Because of the description we thought we have a fridge and kitchen to cook ourselves. Unfortunately this was wrong. Several rooms and other guests, that's good for exchange of information. If prepared for "being somewhere far away with limited options" it's definitely recommendable.

Villa Azul was an unforgettable experience. Very clean rooms facing the sea, delicious food, but above all the people who take care of the house make you feel like family. They help you with everything you need so you can enjoy what the area has to offer. It was my first place in Cuba (after Havana) and I'm taking precious memories with me. I will definitely be back. 100% recommended. ❤️

Very nice and warm Cuban welcome ! You'll feel really within the family, nice discussions, and ... super good food :-) ... A good base to explore Maria La Gorda at less than 1h drive.

We had a very nice evening (and night) in a very different atmosphere from the other casas particulars we visited during our stay, simpler and more exchange, we were received in the dining room with the family.

Very nice experience. Malte and her husband made fantastic dinner and very nice breakfast. It is expensive then in Havana, but money is really value. Can you imagine that they prepare full table of nice food, including meat, fruits and vegetables for me only! Also don't forget that this place doesn't have any shops, so poor Malte and her husband need to drive 26 km in order to buy some food and water. It is only 150 meters untill nice beach, where you can even swimm with the mask. Nice animals, like cats, dogs, puppies, chickens, horse and pig made me feeling, i am in Paradise. Bruno also gave me a lot of useful instructions, which things i need to buy, before the trip! I will recommend this place to everyone who like swimming and nature around!

Rogelio and his little family welcomed us very warmly into their home. One of his first sentences was "you're at home here." Exchanges with Rogelio are really nice and rewarding. In addition, Rogelio is very very flexible because we arrived at 10pm on the first day and a meal was waiting for us and we returned very late too the next evening and Rogelio was also waiting for us with a good meal! Really thank you for their hospitality and kindness!
