Rental house with pool in Maramures

We had a wonderful stay for a family reunion. Marius is an excellent host always happy to guide and assist. The facilities were excellent, spacious and very well equipped. Location was lovely and peaceful with plenty of space to roam. We enjoyed table tennis, tennis and pool with all equipment loaned to us. Some extra guests were able to be hosted on-site in further private accommodation. Pool was unheated which unfortunately stopped some of our guests from using it but was still refreshing for some of us to cool down in from the heat of the day. It was clean and well maintained on the terrace. There is no hot tub (just a bath tub in one of the bathrooms) but we found out it could be possible to take a therapeutic sulphur spring water bath by arrangement! A couple of dogs on-site which were not always welcome but our host’s dog was lovely friendly company for most. A great place to stay and highly recommended. We’d be happy to return another time. Thank you Marius. Fabulous place.

Mircea is very accommodating and helpful. The property is very nice and well suited for people who want to stay in a quaint Romanian-style cottage in a beautiful landscape. The place is well suited for nature excursions. We also saw very impressive, traditional churches in Rogoz.

We had a very good time for 5 days when we went skiing at Cavnic. It was important for us (group of 5) to have well equipped kitchen and washing machine. There were issues with the heat the first night but after we flagged the thermostat error was fixed and in the evening when we returned from the slopes it was hot and fine. The hosts were nice and provided us with sweetness and honey from our own production. If we come back to the area we will definitely look for the same place to stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at the accommodation. It is located next to the center, it is a special accommodation and is much more beautiful in reality than the pictures. We had a great time and had privacy and quiet in the accommodation. We will definitely come back. We were amazed by this unique place to stay. And the host is very kind and hospitable.

An unforgettable experience in Maramures! Our stay was wonderful and Denis and his family were great hosts. Denis provided us with his father's number to guide us to the accommodation, and upon arrival we found everything impeccably clean. Being four people (two couples) we had two comfortable rooms and a tray of delicious cakes was waiting for us at the entrance. On New Year's Eve, it surprised us with a delicious cake, a very nice gesture of her. The next day, Denis' father helped us grill, providing us with everything we needed. We talked with the host's parents, extraordinary people, full of stories about Maramures. We spent a dream New Year's Eve and we can't wait to come back in the summer. We recommend this location for genuine hospitality and warmth!

I am very impressed concerning the renovation of such an old building. A cool combination of a traditional 1940s house with modern standards. The only thing that is different in the photos (but in a positive sense) is the kitchen as it is now all new and superbly equipped. The host is very kind and welcoming - many thanks for having something to eat in the fridge! After a day's driving this is really very nice. Very good place for outdoor gatherings because of the well-equipped gazebo and the bathroom available outside. The host speaks perfect English :) Wi - fi: works flawlessly, Cleanliness: very well cleaned accommodation, Neighbourhood : quiet and peaceful.

Mircea’s wooden cottage is welcoming and blends perfectly in the natural landscape around. The outdoor amnesties are very useful and inviting you to relax. We have not tried the salty water hot tub this time, but we look forward to coming back to do so. The house is clean and well equipped, you will find all you need, including Chromcast for streaming your favourite shows. Mircea is a wonderful host, we have very pleasant discussions about local history and culture by the outdoor fire, and he was very kind to recommend us places to visit in the area. We had a magic time with our family with kids, and we recommend this place for anyone in search of authentic experiences, local cultural exploitation and a relaxing time.
