What a wonderful peaceful place together away from it all. The walks and views were fantastic. Nature all around, swallows nesting and so special to see the dinosaurs footprints. Hillary gave us a warm welcome and we had a fantastic time, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Uline’s place. The views are incredible, and the house has everything one would need. Clean, tidy with fresh comfy (warm) linen and all the amenities needed to prepare our meals. Felt like a home away from home that leaves you wanting to head back as soon as you start driving away :) We definitely recommend Uline’s piece of Heaven for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Ladybrand area.

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at Eugene's place. After some car troubles and an unplanned late night arrival and stay in Ladybrand, we booked and got confirmation of our stay very quickly. We loved the easy self check-in and the place was very homey. All in all we had a lovely stay at this airbnb home. Thank you Eugene :)

My husband and I could not have asked for a better weekend away from our busy city lives. Coco and Shanti, the two puppies that live on the property are so playful and sweet, we are going to miss them! The house is close to a stunning waterfall and scenic hiking trails that would make you cry. Clarens in general is such a charming town but this home is just magical. The house is beautifully kept, spacious and private! We enjoyed every moment, this will be the only place we stay at when visiting Clarens in the future. My family (party of 10) and I stayed at Rita’s place. Big, open, great view, clean, rooms are big, open plan. Definatly go back to Oak Tree House.

We stayed here as a large family group (adults and kids). It worked well for our group and it was great that each room upstairs had its own en-suite. The photos are accurate to what you get. The place was cleaned daily. The views are stunning and it’s a short drive into town for the restaurants. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Nerine’s place. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. There was nice decor, very comfortable beds, and all amenities as described. We walked to two great restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Nerine was very nice and responsive in her communications and her caretaker was also very nice, easy to reach and helpful. We’d highly recommend Nerine’s place to other travelers!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ridge View, Clarens. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. From cozy blankets and a well-equipped kitchen to small touches that made the space feel like a home away from home, everything was designed with comfort in mind. The location is perfect,close enough to the town to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and art galleries, yet secluded enough to enjoy the serenity and natural beauty that Clarens is known for. I highly recommend Ridge View for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with stunning views, warm hospitality, and all the comforts of home. We are definitely coming back!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. We felt safe and secure, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. It was way better than the pictures made it out to be. And the views were amazing. We truly appreciate Donovan’s hospitality and would highly recommend their place to anyone visiting Clarens. We hope to stay again soon!

Wonderful spot to spend some time in Clarens. Perfectly put together place that is very comfortable, clean and tidy. Spotless linen & towels - all you want. Beautiful setting & close to town & other activities. Our family of 4, including 2 small kids, had a very happy weekend.

This charming sandstone home in Rosendal is a true gem that exceeded all expectations. Nestled in the peaceful Free State countryside, it offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully furnished, making it ideal for families or groups seeking a relaxing getaway. The warm welcome and thoughtful attention from the caretaker made us feel instantly at home. She regularly checked in, extending genuine care and enthusiasm, and encouraged us to make full use of the amenities provided. There was plenty of firewood, coal, and gas heaters to keep the home cozy during chilly evenings. With two geysers and a motor pump maintaining high water pressure, hot water was always readily available. We also enjoyed a lovely restaurant just across the road. We loved the quiet setting, clear skies, and the overall homely ambiance. A perfect retreat to relax and reconnect with nature.
