Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Maputo

We felt like the Kardashians of Macaneta. Great space with everything you need. Fabulous pool, great view and user friendly house. The staff at the property is a added bonus. Very safe and secure. Even a generator for the uncalled power outages.

Easy access, welcoming and great house! Loved the pool and the green area. We made great memories in the house!

Das Apartment war sehr sauber und wir fühlten uns sehr sicher. Ein wenig Kommunikationsschwieriegkeiten zwischen Antonio und uns da wir kein portugiesisch sprechen. Elena hat aber sehr gut vermittelt zwischen uns.

We had a wonderful stay at Mandowa. The house is beautiful and the location peaceful and abundant with birdlife. A braai area that is a bit better located would allow for a wonderful evening experience around the fire. Fernando was very helpful and always happy to assist. We hope to be back soon.

We had a great time during our stay. Noleen was very responsive and friendly which made it a very pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Malema's place. It is quiet and peaceful, you only hear the sound of the waves, and with a beautiful view of Maputo city. We went with our two dogs, and the fact that the compound was fenced and big enough for them to run freely was definitely a plus. As you open the backgate you are immediately on the beach, perfect for walks. The house is charming and well-equipped. And the assistance from both Malema and Nkossi on site was just perfect.

This was a great place to stay. It was a short drive to and from the airport. We crossed a beautiful bridge. We were able to easily travel to and from the city center. And the property offered a quite and relaxing atmosphere plus I just loved the pool!

The Urban apt is fantastic. The ocean view units were so tranquil. Everything just worked. There's a pool and all the amenities needed in the apartment. There is a wonderful wine shop right around the corner selling beautiful African wines. There is a mall within taxi distance only about a 10 minute ride. Wonderful restaurants are within walking distance literally right next-door to the apartment and cross the street. Try GinxSushi. You are not go wrong staying in this wonderful place and Maputo.

This apartment is in a great location with nice views and places to walk/visit close by. The apartment is spacious, clean and well ventilated. If you’re in the Maputo area, this is a great spot to check out.

Coming from Joburg secure parking was a priority, so very good neighboorhood is decent middle class area, 2-3km from the sea front but the apartment is brilliant and most important top service from Clay and his security, cleaning lady, and also Dona 2 floors above always available to assist! I would stay there again when in Maputo

Lovely apartment in a great, walkable Maputo neighborhood. Building is from colonial era, and the space is well care for with beautiful parquet flooring. On a Monday night, area was very quiet and peaceful. Many restaurants and shops in the immediately vicinity. Elsa was very communicative and flexible with our last minute travel changes.

I spent only one night but its a really nice and clean place, only i could not find an iron box in the morning and i was in a hurry. will definitely visit again

Super experience staying in this apartment for the month. Lena obviously has an artists vision, and she made this place feel like a tropical artist treehouse in all the best ways. Immediately felt home when I arrived and the ocean breeze flowing all the way through the apartment and the gorgeous sunrise over the Indian Ocean could never get old. Awesome find! Pleasant stay. Host exceed my expectations. The apartment is tastefully decorated. Ac units throughout the apartment even in the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked if you enjoy cooking, you will wish for nothing. The Butler Mr. Juliao exceeded our expectations, attentive, responsive, I worried about nothing during my stay . This will not be my last stay. Be aware it can get loud in the Master bathroom for there is a shop on the ground floor.

It is not your run of the mill Airbnb listing; it is an art gallery turned guesthouse. You can spend days checking out the paintings, the artefacts, the dolls, and other objects Raquel has collected from all over the world. Small shortcomings (bedrooms facing a busy street; this third floor unit can be impacted by noise generated on floors above), can easily be ignored to enjoy the stay at this unusual place.

Excellent séjour. L’appartement était grand, confortable et le quartier agréable. Eau chaude, Wifi, linge et produits de toilette. Les lits sont très confortables. Jorge est très sympathique et accueillant et nous a aidé pour notre arrivée dans la capitale (bonnes recommandations, cartes SIM…). Communication facile, rapide et efficace ! The host was very responsive and pleasant. It’s just the area the place is situated, in CBD. If I was familiar with Maputo I would’ve known better. I don’t prefer CBD.

We LOVED staying here. It was clean, safe, and Carlos was a wonderful host. I wanted to write a review for people who have never been to Africa before. If that’s you and you’re looking for a place to stay, I would stay here again and again. The first night we arrived it did seem a little scary, it can always be scary to be in a new place. But there was a guard outside that’s there almost every night that does a very good job. And the surrounding area is very safe. Everyone who lives around there is very kind and helpful. Lots of kiddos that our kids made friends with. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. The house keeper does a wonderful job cleaning! She leaves it spotless and can come whenever you need. Carlos is so easy to get a hold of and goes above and beyond to be helpful. We needed a few things and he was always there for us! All in all, if you’re struggling to pick somewhere to stay, you will not be disappointed staying here

Thani var en fantastisk vert. Fleksibel på både innsjekk og utsjekking noe jeg satt stor pris på. Eneste som jeg ikke likte var når jeg spurte om å forlenge oppholdet med to dager så satt han opp prisen en del. Men leilighet var fantastisk så jeg kunne ikke motstå å bli der lengre. Fin utsikt og basseng i hagen. Definitivt verdt hver krone og leiligheten var romslig og praktisk. Vi elsket stedet. Takk for oppholdet og anbefales virkelig

Our stay at the house was marvellous. The house is extremely comfortable, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The location is excellent, situated in a safe and quiet area, especially at night and at weekends. What's more, it's conveniently close to supermarkets, petrol stations and restaurants, which makes everything very practical. The hostess and her staff, especially the guard, were extremely attentive and always ready to help with any need. Communication was fast and efficient throughout our stay.

I had a great time at Ana's apt. The buildling with pool and fitness room is very pleasant. The view of the balkony stunning! Had everything what i needed and would love to come back. Proactive and very friendly communication.
