Farmstay vacation rentals in Mansfield Shire

We had a lovely long weekend at Wongabeena. The cottage is extremely comfortable, clean and has suitable amenities for the weekend. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The setting was beautiful and relaxing, we could sit and relax or roam the property. Martina and Kas are welcoming and friendly hosts, and we felt at home right from the start. I dare say, we shall return at some time.

The house was great and really suits a big family group like ours. They had thought of everything, plenty of fridge space for food and drinks. Bbqs and kitchen equipment in the communal outdoor space with plenty of plastic plates/cutlery and glasses. Everything you needed in the kitchen for us to cook family meals. If I could say it lacked anything I would say a big zapper because those moths are next level at night in the shed space ! We would highly recommend three ways for a big family group stay

Marion was a great host, with great local recommendations and great communication. Easy access to fly fishing spots and a comfortable stay.

Such a great place for families, beautiful views from each room, very private and peaceful. We were greeted by the cows on arrival which was a joy for our 3 year old. House is so comfortable, and with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing time away, the host has thought of every little detail to ensure guest are comfortable. We certainly intend on returning.

Our large extended family (5 adults, 3 children and one dog) had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and was warm and cosy with many thoughtful touches. The gardens are beautiful and the setting perfect, just a short cycle ride from Mansfield and a perfect to end our family trip along the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

We absolutely loved staying at Heather’s cottage. The place is super cozy, nice and warm with the wood fireplace. She left it on for us to find the place warm when we arrived. The place is extremely well equipped, there is absolutely everything you might need. It is very clean and well maintained. She is very friendly and responsive. We would definitely recommend this place to any family looking at the perfect weekend getaway. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely be staying here again!

Sonya's place is just as described. It's surrounded by amazing country. Sonya is that host you hope to always get on air bnb, friendly & very responsive. Stayed 4 night as a family of 4 & it was perfect. Highly recommend for a short getaway for a couple or small family. would love to return with just my husband & no kids as it would be even more perfect 👌 thank you Sonya for a lovely stay

Narelle was incredibly easy to contact and responded quickly, making the booking process seamless. The house itself was amazing spacious, clean, and well equipped. The highlight was definitely the beautiful farm setting, with cows and chickens roaming freely. Sitting at the dining table while watching the cows walk past was such a peaceful and unique experience. The rooms and bathroom were generously sized, offering plenty of comfort, and the pool was a fantastic addition for relaxation. The entire stay was truly enjoyable, and we felt so connected to nature. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you Narelle once again.

The property is beautiful and massive. I visited Laura's property for the Easter break with friends and family. The property is kid and pet friendly. Laura was just a text away for comms. I look forward to booking this place again in future. Thank you very much Laura. 😊

Photos don’t do this place justice, it’s absolutely stunning. We stayed for three nights and four days, and honestly, it still didn’t feel like enough time. The surroundings are so peaceful, we spent our days taking lovely walks around the property and even got to see some farm animals, which was a treat. We were really looking forward to using the swimming pool since the weather was sunny, but the water was too cold, wish it had been heated. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials like pans and utensils, but just a heads-up: only salt and pepper are provided (and the salt was nearly finished when we arrived), so you may want to bring a few basics with you. On our second day, we ran out of hot water, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and guided us through switching the gas over, it was sorted quickly. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the fire pit out back, such a cozy way to end the evening. Also, you can see both the sunrise and sunset from this place.

It was a brilliant stay! The house is much better than in photos and our expectations. Everything was very well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well, we enjoyed having the horses in our backyard. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and magical escape.

Heathers place was exactly as described and delivered all expectations. Beautifully well thought out space,where all the beautiful furnishings really made this country oasis feel special. Beautiful house and landscaped gardens, surrounded by farm and grazing cattle. The house inside is very stylish and comfortable with thoughtful pieces of art and furniture, the kitchen well equipped and spacious, perfect for hosting a group. The beds are really comfortable and plenty of space to unpack belongings, including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The location of the property is close to Alexandra, which is a town which seems to have everything you need plus good coffee shops. I’d definitely recommend this place to others coming to the area.

We had a fabulous time staying here! The photos really don’t do the property justice, it was just beautiful. A great place if you’re looking for a peaceful and remote getaway. Kate was extremely accommodating and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had enough blankets. We were extremely cosy with the gorgeous fire. Overall a great spot, we would love to return in the future. ☺️

Beautiful, clean home, stunning views, very relaxing.

We visited the farm with my kids and had a truly amazing experience! The place is beautiful, peaceful, and has a stunning view with lovely natural scenery. My children had so much fun with the animals,there were horses, chickens, and sheep. There were also two adorable dogs that my kids absolutely loved and played with the whole time. Jenny, the owner of the farm, was absolutely wonderful. She was very kind, easy to communicate with, and made everything smooth and enjoyable for us. I highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun time with family in a beautiful countryside setting. We will definitely be coming back again!

We had the most whole new years get away at the property, the views we out of this world and the sky was stunning to see at night. Being where it is and to be expected and out of anyone’s control there was so many flys! But I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from the city and have a quiet peaceful escape. One of the most beautiful places we have stayed at! It was great to stay at Kerrin’s cottage. The place has breathtaking views for sunset and is very close to Great Victorian Trail. Absolutely loved staying here.

Magnificent location and very hospitable hosts. Loved the fire pit and a great supply of wood. A steep driveway up the hill led to beautiful views and a peaceful environment. Jason allowed my Dad to fish in the dam and he caught one which made an old man very happy.

What an amazing place!!! We stayed at The Retreat over the long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the absolutely peace and quite that surrounded us. We are 4 couples and had the place to ourselves. The rooms were perfect for individual couples and the kitchen space had everything we needed. The addition of pantry staples were much appreciated and the coffee machine was hit!! Great wifi and amenities and even though there was no tv in the living space, we enjoyed playing games and truly relaxing in our surroundings. Definitely be back!!

The space is impeccably clean, effortlessly combining rustic charm with contemporary flair. The kids had a blast with so much room to run and play! We all had an amazing time and can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!
