This farmhouse was beautifully redone inside! Our kids loved the rock wall and swing, the loft for reading and basement area. The house was clean, the backyard was nicely fenced and the kitchen had almost any dishes you would need. The property itself has beautiful walking trails, dog park, nature-scape playground and ponds to explore- perfect for our kids to get out their energy without having to go drive around to find a park!

Very great place to stay, extremely cozy and warm feeling. We loved the hot tub and the fact they had a grill and a nice kitchen for cooking. Only a short drive from Ludington and Manistee as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as pictured and even cozier than we hoped for. The sunken living room was a wonderful place for my family of four to lounge and spend quality time together. Had the opportunity to use the hot tub and stomp around in the snow on the property. Anna was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations and directions. Would definitely stay here again.

Very cozy place and great amenities! I will say the water had a strong smell but everything otherwise was so nice! I especially loved the sauna and fire pit to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. Hosts were super friendly and responsive which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this spot to have a peaceful getaway 💕

John & Kelly are not your typical hosts, they go above and beyond! By far the most magnificent hosts in my experience with AirBnB! Their communication is excellent and the home was completely clean and pristine. They also had a very detailed binder with not only everything you need to know about the house, but everything you should know about the location as well! They poured in their time to find great recommendations and ideas so that their guests can have the best possible experience! The quality of everything inside their home is definitely worth the price of the stay. John & Kelly and their home check all the boxes in what one is looking for in a great experience!

Everything was exactly as described, easy to find with clear instructions to get in, and perfectly dog friendly! Flat sheets were even provided to cover the furniture for our pup so all of us felt right at home. The fenced in backyard and where the hot tub was placed were the best part for us. Our dog was able to zoom around while we relaxed in the hot tub. The motion sensored lights allowed us to always see where she was and we felt safe knowing the property was securely fenced in for her to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Amanda!

We loved our stay at "the cabin!" Lots of room and personalized space for those who wanted it. Good bathroom space and really appreciated the laundry and kitchen areas.

My family and I really enjoyed Brian’s place. There was plenty of room for all our ski gear and only 3 mins to the mountain. Having access to the Schuss hot tub was a bonus. There are plenty of board games available and the internet worked well. This has been one of our favorite Airbnbs during the ski season.

Chelsea was very welcoming and accommodating! We spent a few days at Shanty Creek for a conference and went skiing at Schuss Mountain. Great location for both activities! Highly recommend staying here- Chelsea was a wonderful host!

Just back from a 3 night stay at Hall's Haven and it was a perfect spot for our two families of 4, ages 7 thru 50! The welcome treats were such a nice added touch and much appreciated. Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out and plenty of toys and games for everyone. Lots of space for ski gear too! We loved having fires and cooking big meals together in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There was SO much snow and every window had a beautiful view of the snowy woods. Quiet, lovely neighborhood near the Lakeview Inn and just 5 minutes to Schuss Village for skiing. The sauna was an added luxury after a day of skiing! We had the best weekend together! My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. Cute studio Condo that was perfect for 2 people and our dog Teddy. Close walk to marina and 5th Avenue beach. With windows open could hear Lake Michigan waves along with a cool beach breeze. Close to downtown restaurants and activities. Condo had cute beach themed decor and was stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

This was the most magical way to spend the last three weekdays before school started for my kids. 7/10 perfect would stay again.

Meg and Rita should be elevated to above “Superhost”. The little pink house is clean quiet and nicely decorated. All hosts should be as responsive and thoughtful. Every wall switch was labeled to let me know which switch operated each particular light or room. AND every wall socket was fitted with an adapter outlet which was so helpful when traveling with multiple chargers for multiple devices. A great stay. I will definitely stay again.

Stayed with a group of friends for a small getaway trip, had plenty of space for everyone and a well stocked kitchen for cooking! Great stay overall :)

Stylish house on a beautiful lot close to Lake Leelanau. The interior and exterior design are outstanding, the outdoor sitting and BBQ area are fantastic, the views are amazing, the house is tranquil and gives you peace of mind. Amazing place to relax, go for activities, enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time. Sean was proactive and responsive in communication. We felt right at home and would always come back.

We had a great stay! Family live in the area, so it was nice to have them come over and visit. There was a lot of seating available with the living room arrangement and the dining table (seats 6). It wasn't much of an issue for us, but if you're staying with friends, you should be aware that the bedroom with the three beds is separated from one bathroom by a curtain. Great location with short walk to House of Flavors, downtown, the beach, and the waterfront park area.
