We enjoyed our stay at Strawcroft. The views from the terrace are amazing and the area is very peaceful. The house is comfortable and has everything you need.

This is a really lovely location, with great view of the Tugela River and the Colenso hills. Very peaceful and comfortable stay and an extremely well-equipped kitchen! The farm milk is a perfect extra touch. Just be aware that the last few kilometres are over extremely poor roads so avoid driving there during darkness.

Very cool cabin outside of town. Our family with one child had a lovely stay, and we plan to return. Peaceful, rustic, great view of mountains and stars. An excellent location close to Clarens and Golden Gate Park. We did a short hike with a great view right from our front door! The cabin is rustic, would be ideal for hikers and PCVs/RPCVs, writers and backpackers who like a good value but don’t want to deal with other people.

The location was simply breath taking. The cabin was cozy. The receptionist, Nkono, was friendly & helpful. 10min drive to Clarens.

I had a beautiful stay at Riverside Cottage. A very well equipped accommodation in a bucolic environment. Kim was very helpful whether it be for the direction to the cottage or to make sure I have everything I need during my stay. The host have a great sense of hospitality and I thank them for that.

What a perfect little getaway! We felt right at home and comfortable in the beautiful farm house. It was very clean and well kept. Nestled in the mountains, but also not far from town - it's the perfect location!

From the time of booking on Airbnb to the time we left was seamless, professional and the communication with Michael (the host) was immediate. The home is immaculate and has everything a family needs for an amazing holiday. The views from the home over looking the Bell Park dam is breathtaking. My hubby took his jet ski and the accessibility to the slipway was just a short drive away from the home! Being an avid runner/trail runner and hiker. There were safe trails around the area. Michael’s property being pet friendly was our main attraction and our fur child had freedom to venture around the property without any hassle. We have a Belgian Malinois, Swiss Shepherd dog! And on our departure day, Michael made contact with us way before our departure to inform us that due to the excessive rain, the bridges were flooded and he safely guided us on another route home! Thank you Michael🙏🏻 We will definitely be back and will continue to recommend your holiday Airbnb.

Amazing unique place to stay! Our family found the area very picturesque and totally peaceful! Swimming in the concrete water reservoir was very cool! We really enjoyed the hike and history of the area! The dirt road access was easy to navigate.

Oh what a beautiful & peaceful place to be in. The pictures honestly do not do justice, it’s much more beautiful in person with gorgeous surroundings and the rooms are huge. The restaurant, playground and horse riding being in the same estate are a cherry on top. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

Cottage was actually better than the photos. Was lovely and clean, also very helpful to have Sylvia help out with cleaning etc, she was lovely. Comfortable beds and good linen. Fire not working which was a little disappointing the first night as it was chilly, not needed after that.. hopefully will be available in the future.

Beautiful property, amazing views. Might want to bring candles for more atmospheric lighting in the evenings as the overhead lamps are very bright. Well equipped kitchen, lovely garden and easy drive into Clarens. Dogs on the property but v friendly. Lovely stay overall, we hope to come back.

We had a wonderful weekend at Domaine Sérénité! The views are breathtaking and it’s incredibly peaceful, away from the busyness of Clarens or any big roads. The location is still close enough to easily pop out to lunch in Clarens, or to explore the town and nearby Golden Gate National Park. Huy and Betty and their wonderful dogs made us feel so at home and we found the accommodation very confortable, with both indoor and outdoor braaing areas and everything we needed for self catering. We will be coming back as soon as we can, couldn’t recommend more!

The house is beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need. There is a washing machine, a dryer and a dishwasher. The view from the house is breathtaking and there is a clean small lake one can swim in just a few minutes from the house. There was a rock pool very close by but I understand that now it belongs to one of the properties so is not available for everyone’s use. There are so many activities in the area so we had busy packed days horse riding bird shows and vertical rush. Internet is not great. It was an absolute treat.

The place is really modern and neat. The estate is beautiful and very close to everything in Clarens - perfect balance of living space and ability to experience Clarens. Perfect place to unwind and relax.
