For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

Very nice and spacious apartment, lots of space and everything you need for a great stay. Very quiet location and many opportunities to do something to go to Tromsö or Senja. Unfortunately, we did not see the aurora lights, as the weather did not play along, but the hosts can't do anything for that of course. Thanks very much again! We highly recommend this place!

Good location (for a skiing trip), beautiful surroundings and a nice and tidy apartment. More rooms than what you’d expect from the description.

This is a beautiful, peaceful setting. The apartment is comfortable and private with everything we needed. Svein was very friendly and told us lots about the area.

Thank you very much, we had a great time and had everything we needed in this apartment! We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful and welcoming host. The host had bought emergency food when we arrived late at night, and provided a 6-wheeled vehicle for the children. It was popular😊 We would gladly came back!

The House was located nicely so that there was an y access to snowboarding spots at Tamokveien and Lyngen

We spend 5 wonderful weeks at Linn’s cosy house in april-may :) We had the best time skitouring and enjoying the surrounding mountains. The house was just like it’s shown in the pictures, it has such a nice vibe and perfect views from the windows. Linn was very helpful and easy to reach when needed. Thank you! We’ll be back :)

Thank you very much for having us in your beautiful home Maret. Upon request, some fishing gear and the boat was ready for our use. The sauna was amazing and the house is super cosy and has everything you need. What really put this place on the map for us, was the extraordinary views! Absolutely breathtaking. We loved spending time just chilling together and staring at the view. We will miss it dearly. Maret was super responsive and helpful and friendly. We hope to be back again in the future. Great house and short distances to the mountains of that area.

We spent a week in this absolutely beautiful and cozy house. The living room is very stylish and cozy, so we could spend many nice evenings in front of the fireplace and relax optimally. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is also very nice with underfloor heating and dimmable light. The quiet and peaceful location on the fjord is unique and looks like a picture book. In addition, we were lucky to see the Northern Lights directly from the house on most evenings. 😍 The hosts Kari & Øystein were extremely helpful, friendly and the communication went perfectly. We would come back any time ☺️🙏🏻✨

We are from Singapore.. We chose Silje House as it was quiet away from city!! The house have everything we need and is very very cosy. We get to immerse ourselves in nature and its very peaceful. We had no problem driving up the slope in winter. And we managed to see the Northern Lights almost everyday when we were there..we can see them through our Naked eyes..u can enjoy from yr bedroom window too. Silje is very responsive and helpful. She tries her very best to assist n advise. We really appriciate it so much. We felt right at home when we were there. Thank you so much, Silje.
