This place surpassed our expectations for a girls weekend in a location we hadn’t explored before. This place was so cozy and the beds and linens were amazing. We had a fantastic time sitting by the fire and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend more for a couple of friends or a couples weekend. Look forward to returning with Hubby and enjoying this house and region again. Thanks for such a providing a really comfy, warm eclectic experience.

Me and my friends had a great weekend and excellent accomodation. Easy drive to town and very private. We didn’t have cook at all but I would like to comment on a well supplied kitchen. Both lounges are comfortable and cozy. Outdoor areas are great. Rooms and beds are comfortable. A great place to stay and surely will be back here. Thank you Tony and Rachel. ✅

We fell in love with the photos of BoxHouse… then our expectations were exceeded! Hands down one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. Liz is the perfect host: so friendly & caring, providing quality, thoughtful touches throughout the property. Everything in the home & at the property is of the highest standard, we were so comfy & cozy & spoilt over our winter long weekend stay. Highlights were the sunrise from the loft bedroom, the local kangaroos & birds, grilling on the bbq, reading & sipping a cup of tea as sunlight poured through the huge windows, yoga & cheese platters on the sun-drenched porch - everything was pure bliss! The home is so unique & interesting & we loved reading about the build & the town of Tanja in the books provided. We had a 5+ star experience & highly recommend a stay at the gorgeous BoxHouse.

We stayed here while working in the area and couldn’t have been happier. The home was spotless, well equipped, and really comfortable after long days on site. It’s in a great location, close to everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others traveling for work or leisure!

Super stay at Coota views. The view is indeed marvelous and Lily has installed a bird feeder on the deck which attracts all sorts of local birds (parrots, jays, parakeets..) for some nice photos. If you like to walk it’s a nice long stroll along the lake to central Mallacoota and there’s plenty to see in terms of beaches and trails. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Enjoy !

We arrived at the property very late and the rain was pelting down hard, so could not view the property well. However the morning brought us the most beautiful scenery! My partner and I are both very well travelled...however we both marvelled that this was one of the most gorgeous breath taking views we have ever witnessed! I loved the calming colour scheme of muted green and blue shades, all the way down to the glasswear! The fire pit added to the charm of the property ...so did the adorable kangaroos and little birdlife. Makes me daydream about retiring here.......

We absolutely loved Glenys' cottage and felt and home the instant we arrived. For the first time ever at a BNB, I unpacked into the wardrobe and shelves. It is very well appointed, even with things you hardly find at BnBs like a bread knife, face washers and spare tea towels! Quiet, peaceful. A beautiful garden that is obviously well cared for. The sun in the yard at all times of day (if you keep moving!). Just bliss. We will definitely be back. Thank you Glenys.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights was the stunning, scenic surroundings—it made the whole experience even more relaxing. We had the most incredible stay at this cabin! The location is absolutely unbeatable — just steps from a stunning beach with crystal-clear water and golden sand. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having morning coffee with ocean views felt like a dream. The cabin itself was cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to explore nearby cafes and attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better beach escape — we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It really did have everything we needed for our mini Easter break. The kitchen/house was so well equipped, they really had thought of everything to make our stay relaxing. The house was lovely inside, and the pool area was a massive hit with the family. We would definitely recommend staying here in the beautiful Merimbula.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful peaceful property on the edge of town with lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the pool, cubby and fire pit! Beautiful beach just down the bush track. And the house is very well set up.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this place! My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. It was an absolute treat to have a beachfront cabin with uninterrupted views of the stunning coast. The stovetop was an added bonus so that I could cook meals there. This place has everything you need for a relaxing, stress free stay. Absolutely loved it and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you!

What a view! We spent so much time relaxing on the back decking enjoying the views over the lakes. Very peaceful and quiet location on the edge of Mallacoota. The house is well kept, tastefully decorated with reliable internet which suited our family of five when we weren't out exploring the area. The driveway is quite steep and we'd recommend coming down forwards, then when you're heading out reversing out and turning on the grass to the left which worked for us every time. There's enough room for two cars in the carport. Highlights from the area were hiring a boat in town, Betka beach, the golf course, the walk along to Captains Creek jetty (12km return but it's a good track) and a drive up the NSW coast to Merimbulla and did I mention the view?

Clifftop is a great place to stay. Great views. The house is well appointed. Tathra is a lovely little village. Christine was easy to communicate with.

Stayed at this gorgeous place for 4 nights! A great stay for young families and dogs - fully fenced, very private and secure, heaps of space. Loved being able to see the water from the front balcony and we watched a family of kangaroos from the back deck! Place is actually bigger than the photos suggest - split levels. Very quiet neighbourhood, a beautiful place to relax. Hosts were very responsive and helpful when we needed

Had the best stay, perfect location and very dog friendly, the backyard is almost as good as the location. Heaps of options for areas to walk. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We loved our stay. The outlook onto a blanket of trees made im us instantly relax and we loved having the native birds and wildlife come and visit us each day. We love Tathra, and have been coming here for many years. There’s heaps to do within a few minutes drive with inlets and beaches, cafes and shops all nearby. The house is very unique and has been beautifully appointed. Everything we needed was there, including a very well stocked kitchen which we really appreciated. Helen was great throughout our stay, very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Sally’s home is even nicer than the photos suggest. The view of the beach from the main living room is stunning. My family really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely come back again. Sally was a pleasure to deal with. I really appreciated her flexibility with the check in times. The beds were comfy, and the heating was great. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooking, and everything was easy to use. We loved having three bathrooms, which worked very well for a family of adults and their partners. There’s a lovely boardwalk along the foreshore, which is just minutes from Sally’s home. And the local shops and restaurants are a short drive away. We will definitely come back. Thank you Sally!
