A big garden for meditation or simply to relax on the grass in the sun while watching kangaroos, ducks and butterflies drift by you. I enjoyed my time here tremendously, it was peaceful. We just returned from the most incredible 7-night stay in what can only be described as a magical treehouse in Merimbula. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Sam our host, has poured so much thought and heart into creating a space that allows you to truly unwind. Every corner of the home is beautifully curated - from the stylish yet cozy decor to the comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like nice bathroom products and a stocked kitchen.m. It’s that kind of place where all the little details have been considered, so all you have to do is settle in and breathe. Our favourite moments were having our morning coffees out on the deck, watching the sun rise. Evenings were just as special, with a crackling fire, soft tunes and the kind of peace that’s hard to find. Sam is an exceptional host, offering great local recommendations on places to eat, visit too. If you’re looking for a soulful escape surrounded by nature - this is it. We are dreaming of our next stay!

The accommodation was beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms. A lovely touch was some local produce gifts ie wine, milk, jam and chutney. Would recommend this property to everyone. We had a fabulous time in comfort, across the road from the sea that put us to sleep each night and just down the road a choice of great cafes.

Liz is a kind and open host who oozed warmth from the moment we exchanged messages. Stepping into the Box House felt like coming home—a thoughtful supply of beautiful breakfast goods, a huge bunch of herbs ready for cooking, and a basket full of games to encourage conversation and time well spent with your company. Filled with art, character, and everything you might need for your stay, the house was nothing short of immaculate. There is plenty to do only a short drive away, or you can simply stay put and enjoy the serenity. The Box House will provide stunning sunrise views from bed, crosswinds through the rooms that clear your mind, and a night sky so clear, you’ll lose track of time counting stars. Whether you’re after a restful retreat or a cozy base for adventure, this place delivers. Liz has created something truly special—an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. Can’t wait to return.

Catherine is a beautiful host. Super responsive & informative with great local recommendations. The house felt homely, private & relaxing. The king bed is divine! We found it so comfortable, we asked Catherine for the mattress details haha! To which, she linked us for personal consideration! All that’s needed, is there & more. We had such a lovely week. Located a nice walk or zippy drive to everything. Gorgeous surroundings to explore & grab a coffee while taking in views & happenings. Thank you so much for the hospitality Catherine. We absolutely loved Glenys' cottage and felt and home the instant we arrived. For the first time ever at a BNB, I unpacked into the wardrobe and shelves. It is very well appointed, even with things you hardly find at BnBs like a bread knife, face washers and spare tea towels! Quiet, peaceful. A beautiful garden that is obviously well cared for. The sun in the yard at all times of day (if you keep moving!). Just bliss. We will definitely be back. Thank you Glenys.

This beautiful old church was a pleasure to stay at. Located on a large private block on a hill overlooking the village of Wolumla, it offers peace and quiet with stunning views of the rolling hills below, all within a short drive to Merimbula, Pambula and the beautiful little settlement of Candelo. The residence is open plan, which makes it perfect for young families with kids, while the separate bathhouse, shower and toilet offers privacy where it matters. With high ecclesiastical ceilings and beautiful old stained glass window features, not to mention wonderful acoustics, it’s a really unique experience. And the external deck is a great place to share a meal or admire the view. A rare spot and a truly wonderful stay. Our seven-year-old son especially loved it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different.

We enjoyed a great stay at Katie's unit. A retro style unit that was precisely as described. We appreciated the willingness of Katie to allow us to bring along our small dog. We really appreciated Katie's willingness to be available if we had any queries.

We had a long trip driving with 3 little ones from Melbourne to Sydney. We decided to spend 2 nights at Harvey's on the way and it was a perfect place to rest and relax. We appreciate all the thought that you have put into making it a really welcoming and comfortable. We loved watching and listening to the birds and the stunning views. Phil was a friendly and obliging host. The unit was perfect for our needs, and it was bigger than it seemed from the photos. From the front of the unit, there are views over the north of the beach and the neighbours' front lawns were full of kangaroos at night. I would very happily rent the unit again on a future visit to Tathra.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Leonie's home. Leonie was a very communicative host who offered early check in and made many helpful recommendations for day walks in Merimbula and surrounds. The view from the accommodation is amazing and the property is well situated for exploring Bar Beach, Long Point, Short Point and the Lake Explorer path into town. Definitely recommend!

Paul and Lee were warm and welcoming hosts and we loved our time at the View. Its location and great view were as described. My only disappointment was that the two single beds were bunk beds. Paul’s photos show this clearly, but I had pictured “two single beds” as twin beds. No doubt, it was my lack of attention to detail that caused the issue, but I think worth highlighting. In short, the perfect configuration for a family with kids, but not so much for two older couples.

Judy was easy to communicate with and greeted us when we arrived. Judy’s space was clean, tidy and provided everything we needed. The space was immaculate and Judy provided a great resource on all the local and space information. Views were breath taking 👌

What an absolute gem, this quirky, gorgeous flat is a dream to stay at, we loved absolutely everything about it. Haani is such a beautiful soul, so welcoming and accommodating, she truly made our stay extra special.
