My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at Claus' place. From beginning to end he was extremely kind and helpful and great to communicate with. The place was very comfortable and extremely clean. Although it was easily accessible by public transit (about 20 minutes to get downtown), it felt like being in the countryside, with horses, wheat fields, and a strawberry farm beside it. Definitely recommend staying with Claus if you visit the beautiful city of Mainz!

Great place to stay! Very clean, solid location, and Jen was very helpful. A few minor things to note—the place isn’t air conditioned (and doesn’t have any fans or anything) so it can get quite warm in the apartment. It is also quite small, which was fine for me as a solo traveler, but would be a little tight for two people. Finally, a very minor thing, but the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Overall though really good spot especially for the price!

A well-lit hallway features light-colored tile flooring and bright white walls. A narrow white cabinet and a decorative table are positioned along one side, complemented by a circular mirror above the table. A tasteful area rug adds warmth, while a white door leads outside.

We are thrilled with our choice in Mainz. We stayed 4 nights to explore far and wide. We had tickets to a concert in town our first night; Vera & Pascal walked us to the tram and showed us exactly where to exit. And shared the BEST ice cream shop. The lodgings were spacious with our own private courtyard. The space was so quiet except for chirping birds. We enjoyed every minute at Vera’s home in Mainz.
