Stunning Ocean View Designer Holiday Home

The wonderful 4bd, 2ba farm-house is situated on the quieter North side of Mahia. The one acre House site offers un-obstructed panoramic Pacific Ocean views that over-look the Tokaroa Reef and beautiful white sand cove beaches ideal for bathing and swimming. The house is tastefully decorated by the furniture design owners based in Los Angeles, many of the pieces collected from their travels. If you are wanting to get away from it all and create a memorable holiday this is the ideal retreat.

Relax and enjoy uninterrupted seaviews from our comfortable beachfront Bach. The living, dining and two main bedrooms all have views across bay. With decks on both northern and southern sides you can enjoy outdoor dining most days. Opoutama beach is a lovely sandy beach; great for young children & only a short walk away through the reserve. Opoutama store is a handy 10min walk away. Minimum 3 night stay over long weekends. Linen can be arranged for an extra charge ($75 for complete houselot).

Originally built for the America’s Cup Village, this spacious three-bedroom retreat is less than a 300 metre walk from the beach, boat launch, pub, and sports courts. Buckets, spades, boogie boards, basketballs, tennis rackets and tennis balls are provided. Plenty of parking for your boat. In the winter, stay warm by the woodburner (wood provided). Lots of board games, DVD's and books too. We look forward to hosting you.

Plenty of extra space in the 2nd house for those larger group bookings. Large lawn area fit for parking cars and boats. More lawn space for running around, outdoor games and barbecues. Located 1 minute from the beach this cosy little cabin is perfect for your weekend away. Mahia Beach, Taylor’s Bay, the dairy, fishing club, Seaside Markets and Sunset Point Tavern are all within walking distance. The cabin has a little kitchen with a fridge, cooktop and microwave. There is also a BBQ located outside. Around the back is your own little bathroom with a shower and toilet. Come and check out all the beautiful Mahia Beach has to offer.

Cormorants Cove is on the Mahia peninsula which is on the undiscovered east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Cormorants Cove is sitting on the top of a cliff with unimpeded views of Gisborne and surrounding beaches. Some of the best surf breaks are within 5 minutes drive and family friendly swimming beaches are just as close. This is the place to come to do absolutely nothing, but relax and soak up the sun and the views.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

The guest suite is situated at one end of the house and comprises a bedroom, bathroom and a separate lounge room with its own private deck and entrance. The bedroom has a queen bed. Enjoy waking to the sound of the waves and the local bird life. Have breakfast on the deck while taking in the views.

We loved our stay here, lots of space and had everything we needed. Trudie was great at answering any queries and instructions were easy to follow. A great little spot on a quiet street and super close to the beach and the shop. Will definitely be returning!

The home was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach, the view was incredible and the neighborhood was outstanding. Annette was easy to communicate with and she responded quickly to any questions. I would definitely stay at this home again when I return to New Zealand.

This was our second visit to Aimee’s house. The house is perfect for needs (2 parents and their grown children). We like the isolation of the house and proximity to great beaches. Aimee is the best host and is always responsive to the smallest requests. I hope to return again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessicas lovely farm cottage. The farm was incredibly peaceful with beautiful views of the rolling farm hills. We found it really relaxing and quiet. A great spot to unwind. The cottage had everything we needed, and the fresh eggs provided by Jessica were a thoughtful and much appreciated touch. Communication with Jessica was excellent. We’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a private, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Thankyou for having us Jeff. Mahunga beach is absolutely fabulous where we spent most of our time. We had fun playing cricket in the large front yard & the kitchen was great to cook in. Highly recommend this place for large family trips as there is lots of beds & rooms for everyone’s comfort & privacy. Thankyou for hosting myself & my bridesmaids for my wedding. Looking forward to coming back next time!
