Staff will cook breakfast every day, they provide different nice breakfast. Villa located at north east area 5 mins drive to 7-11 7 mins to supermarket. Supermarket nearby close at 18:00, please make sure you got enough stuff before back to villa. 20 mIns drive to town centre or area near Sheraton. It was a very clean and nice homestay.Each room has a shower, a toilet, and a large bed and plenty of space.The best attraction is Tom, the owner, ^ ^ When I arrived, he came to pick me up at the airport and sent me home.The homestay itself is a little bit far from downtown, but I didn't find it inconvenient because they picked me up and dropped me off.Tom is good at English.I can also speak a little Japanese, so I studied and studied on my own, but he was very good.Anyway, he was a bright person and told me to let me know if I had any problems.While we stayed, they took us to breakfast and took us to karaoke, we weren't able to attend, but they are wonderful people with a sense of having a party and entertaining guests.If you consult, I think it will be reassuring for sightseeing in foreign countries because it is a person who will support you in various ways. I think it's a good idea to rent a car or rent a bike for sightseeing in Penghu.There is a rental car shop 100 meters from Tom's Minsu, so it is convenient.However, when you rent a car, you will need a translation document of your Japanese license, so please issue documents in Japan, please check your JAF International License for details. In April to June, fireworks show fireworks every Monday and Thursday.It is held every week for two days, so I honestly thought it was small, but I was surprised because it was a very big fireworks!It was not like a Japanese fireworks display, so I had a very luxurious time to see it slowly.If you plan to go during this time, fireworks are highly recommended! Karen's place is a little gem in Penghu. At 1 min walk from Shenshui beach, she offers free access to beach material (snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach umbrella, bodyboards, etc.). There is also a possibility to rent surfing boards and paddle boards. Karen can arrange scooter rentals for you so that you don't have to make it yourself. Her breakfasts are homemade varied and delicious. She offered to transport us to the harbour on our last day. The room was very clean and spacious and offered a view on the beach. Amenities are great (aircon, fan, TV, great wifi). The building offers a lot of spaces to relax (terrace, common living area with sofas and dining room where you can order Karen's food if you don't want to eat out). We would definitely recommend to anyone, including families with kids, visiting Penghu main island to stay here for a relaxing experience!

The host's family was super nice to us, and would not only recommend our trip to Phoenix, but also very hospitable and enthusiastic, and helped us have a pleasant three days in Penghu.
