Quinta Kakelbont is one of the most relaxed places I’ve ever been to. The place is located on a huge place of land with 4 really relaxed dogs, 2 super cute pigs and so many fruit trees, where you can pick fresh oranges. It’s super calm and beautiful. The house is very cozy, the bed is comfy and there’s a kitchen with all the appliances. Sjoukje and Carlos are great hosts, we can definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed stay.

Un endroit merveilleux au cœur de la nature ainsi qu’un accueil de la part des hôtes des plus chaleureux (avec visite de leur jardin, œufs au petit-déjeuner). Nous avons passé 4 magnifiques jours avec notre fille de 2 ans.

Todo genal, Ana y Antonio son muy amables, siempre dispuestos para todo, y aunque viven en la casa de al lado, respetan mucho la privacidad de los huespedes. La casita es una maravilla, no le falta un detalle, la cocina está equipada con todos los electrodomésticos y utensilios necesarios, ademas, tienen el detalle de poner, aceite, vinagre, sal, azucar, café, té, cosa que se agradece. En el baño hay muchas toallas, y muchos productos de aseo a disposición de los huespedes, y todo muy limpio. La zona de jardin, piscina, y barbacoa, es preciosa, esperamos volver para poder disfrutarla, ya que fuimos en febrero, y no es tiempo de baño. Casita para recomendar 100x100, si quieres pasar unos días de paz y tranquilidad en un entorno rural con mucho encanto. Volveremos!! Gracias por todo a Ana y Antonio, nos trataron de lujo.

I booked this Airbnb for my best friend’s 23rd birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and we felt totally safe the entire time. Everything was spotless and beautifully kept. I let Christina know it was my friend’s birthday, and she went above and beyond—she surprised us with a cake and candles, which made the celebration even more special. Just a heads-up for future guests: there’s an additional fee for extra guests, even if there are multiple beds—so make sure to double-check the listing details. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and I’d love to stay here again!

Super tolle Unterkunft, lädt zum entspannen und entschleunigen ein.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans la maison seastar ! C’est un véritable petit paradis avec son accès privatif à la mer ( on s’endort au bruit des vagues), son coucher de soleil de rêve et son emplacement idéal. L’hôte absolument adorable est venu nous chercher sur la route pour nous guider, nous a bien conseillés pour visiter les lieux et a répondu à toutes nos questions. De délicieux gâteaux faits maison et figues confites succulentes nous attendaient à notre arrivée. La maison est petite mais très bien agencée; la cuisine est bien équipée, des chaussons de plage et des serviettes sont à disposition, il y a plusieurs spots autour de la maison pour manger, se reposer, faire un barbecue ou se prélasser sur un hamac. Un parking est à disposition ce qui est très pratique. On peut se rendre à pieds à une taverne toute proche. Mais une fois sur place on est au paradis entre la mer et les fleurs; on n’a plus du tout envie de partir. Un logement et un hôte exceptionnels

Mijn verblijf in El Kubo was heerlijk! een fijn tiny house, met veel privacy en goed afgesloten, zodat ik mij hier ook alleen helemaal prettig voelde! De buitenruimte is heerlijk, zeker in deze tijd van ht jaar, met volop keuze voor zon en voor schaduw! El Kubo is klein maar fijn, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De communicatie met Nani was makkelijk en gezellig, ze spreekt heel goed engels dat maakt het communiceren gemakkelijk! Ik kom graag een keer weer terug! De tips die Nani gaf over stranden en horeca in de buurt vond ik ook heel prettig, en hebben mij naar mooie plekken gebracht die ik anders niet had gevonden!

La casa è vicino al paese di Villaverde. Bellissimo posto. Tania e Carlo sempre disponibili, gentili e presenti.

Wakker worden met uitzicht op de groene heuvels en met het fluiten van de vogels. Wat een heerlijk plekje is hier gerealiseerd met de eenden, honden (super lief) en paarden. Chris en David stonden voor je klaar als je ze nodig had. Ultime tip is een rit door de Serra op de paarden. In de avond ook nog genoten van de sauna. Wat Een Rust. Bedankt!

Just a fantastic spot to relax and a great base to explore the area. Christoph was super helpful, friendly and welcoming and some lovely touches like fresh oranges for juicing. Beautiful gardens too. Highly recommend.

Pobyt w tym miejscu sprawił nam niesamowitą przyjemność! Komunikacja z właścicielami bardzo dobra, doświadczyliśmy dużo spokoju oraz prywatności! Idealne miejsce do odpoczynku!

Liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtetes Häuschen, in dem wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Super Lage zur Erkundung des Nordwesten Madeiras und sehr netter Kontakt mit Adriana.

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr süß und schön eingerichtet. Von dort kann man zu Fuß einen sehr schönen Aussichtspunkt am Meer schnell erreichen und mit dem privaten Parkplatz war es auch einfach mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Wow! Tout d’abord, que dire de la gentille de Ellen. Elle nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a fait visiter le logement. Elle a pris le temps de nous suggérer des activités ainsi que des restaurants dans les alentours. Elle nous a même envoyé plusieurs informations utiles par texto. Elle avait également des collations et des breuvages au froid. Nous nous sommes sentis rapidement à l’aise. Le logement est comme sur les photos. C’est extrêmement bien décoré et paisible. L’endroit est magnifique et est parfait pour relaxer avec les bruits de la nature tout autour. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié également qu’il y ait des accessoires de plage à notre disposition. Cela a été très pratique. Bref, nous avons adoré notre court séjour et y reviendrons certainement si nous revenons dans la région. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour des vacances en toute tranquillité!

We highly recommend staying here during your Madeira visit if you enjoy nature! The hut has all you could wish for and you can enjoy all the peace and quiet from the green scenery. From here it is a 20 min drive to Funchal and 15 min drive to Pico do Arieiro! Also, a few great hiking routes start just nearby the huts. Don’t forget to stop by the donkeys, they are very friendly!

Die Unterkunft ist ein schönes Juwel. Zum Glück hatten wir sehr zeitig gebucht, sonst wäre es weg gewesen. Wir können es nur jedem weiter empfehlen. Auch hat Lupe uns mit vielen Tips aus der Umgebung versorgt und uns auch immer ein Gefühlt, des willkommen-seins gegeben.

Fuimos 3 personas nos gusto mucho el alojamiento contaba con barbacoa, zona picnic, piscina propia. Lo único que no nos gusto fue la ducha, el agua no salia con presión, por lo demás todo genial.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Tiny Villa :) Es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm und einfach, als wir fragen hatten mussten wir nicht lange auf eine Antwort warten. Außerdem kamen sehr oft Katzen vorbei die sehr liebevoll waren und sich bestimmt freuen würden wenn man sie ab und zu füttern würde :)

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

Fabulous stay in a fabulous location ran by a fabulous guy 😁. Erik has created a little oasis away from the busy, noisy, very popular South of the island. It is remote, as described, perfect place to get away from it all. Erik is genuine and kind, willing to help in away he can, picked me up from the airport with a pit stop at the shop. Highly recommend 👌

Leuk verblijf op zeer rustige locatie. Hetty en Patrick zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hoogtepunt is de sauna en het bijhorende uitzicht.

Nacho was a perfect host, super friendly and attentive, with lots of tips for the area and very quick to help if I needed something. His Casita was super cozy, with a very comfortable bed up on the platform (best sleep I've had in a while!) and a nice private garden with a terrace and hammock. The outdoor shower was another highlight and for cold nights Nacho provided me with a portable gas heater for some more warmth. There is a small supermarket very close by, and there are bikes to use for free. However, I would recommend to have a car to more easily visit places in the surroundings like the pretty old town of Vejer and the beautiful bay in Los Caños. I would definitely recommend Nacho's place to my friends!
