Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Magens Bay Beach

We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's place, very comfortable with all the amenities one would hope for. Hot showers, AC, comfortable beds, kitchenware for meal prep, chairs/towels/umbrella for the beach. Lorna was a very sweet and responsive host, and even came by in person to make sure everything was ok. The property is located 15 min from the airport up in the mountains and the road to get there gets very tight and steep in spots. We had good dry weather and were able to navigate in a 4 door sedan, but if the roads were wet I would imagine its quite difficult without 4 wheel drive. Get a jeep if you come during rainy months, and note they drive on the LEFT side of the road in St. Thomas. The climb drive is rewarded with amazing over water views of Caret Bay on the north side of the island. We got up for the sunrise every day we were there, and I'm not an early morning person. Despite some of the listing photos there are no beaches within walking distance, but Brewers Bay beach (a great recommend from Lorna) is 15 minutes drive near the airport and has great snorkeling- guaranteed to see some turtles. Coki Beach and Magens Bay are 20-30 minutes, and Red Hook where the ferries and boat tours launch is 30 minutes. If you want to be able to step outside onto sand, this is not the place, but if you don't mind a little drive, Lorna's place is great for a group of 5-6 people.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view of the island was amazing. I think it was the the best view we have ever had at an Air BNB. Delano and Beige were very helpful. We enjoyed chatting with Gene while he cleaned the pool everyday. The pool was a nice place to relax after a long day sight seeing. Our room had everything we needed and more, including beach and snorkeling gear. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St. Thomas!

Great spot only minutes from Cruz Bay. There’s a single parking spot that takes a little work to fit into but it’s sufficient. Good house for our family of 4 (2 teens). GREAT views from the back deck for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Would suggest darker curtains in the bedrooms as the current ones don’t keep out any light. Bed linens could be upgraded. Host was very responsive and easy to contact.

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for our party of 8 to spread out! Suzy was very responsive to any requests or questions we had.

the place was fantastic as a get away for 2. it was secluded and private with a bit of a steep hill to get down so be warned about that. morning and evenings were great, we always had a nice sea breeze from the bay and could see the sunrise beautifully over the usvi. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking!

Enjoyed the hummingbirds, Bananaquits and the noise of the Coki frogs every night. Beautiful views. Wonderful house with everything you could need. Excellent stay.

My partner and I stayed at Aaron’s place in St. Thomas for five nights, and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The listing was exactly as described—if not better. The view from the property was absolutely stunning and quickly became one of our favorite parts of each day. It set the perfect tone for a relaxing and memorable getaway. The home was spotless upon arrival, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. It was well-appointed with a wide variety of amenities that made our stay feel easy and comfortable—from kitchen essentials to thoughtful extras that added convenience throughout the trip. Everything we needed was either available or clearly outlined in Aaron’s helpful communication. The only very minor issue we encountered was with the restroom door, which was a bit tricky to close quietly and occasionally caused a disturbance at night. That said, it was a small inconvenience in what was otherwise a flawless stay!

Had a great stay at the Ampersand. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and well-appointed and a perfect size for our two-person stay. We found it very relaxing being in this light, airy and cleanly designed home. There were also nice amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen of cooking gear and utensils/glasses, a washer and dryer, a cool collection of books, and bottled water and a bottle of wine in the fridge upon our arrival. Nicely located in the hills above downtown Charlotte Amalie it is a quiet and private location with beautiful views from the garden terrace. The walk to downtown was indeed very steep - particularly the walk up the hills - but we didn't mind and enjoyed getting the exercise. About 5-10 minutes to downtown, you can always take a taxi back up to the house. The host Ossie was super responsive and friendly. Highly recommended for a stay in Charlotte Amalie.

We had a great stay in Monic’s place . She is very responsive and the place is beautiful and peaceful . Definitely recommend stay in her property. You won’t regret !

Views were very nice. Apparently it is 125 feet above the ocean below which helps your view. Quick 1/2 mile drive to RedHook. Shorter than that to Secret Harbor Beach. BTW there is additional parking for Secret Harbor up behind the tennis court, but first drop off passengers below. Easy snorkeling there off to the right around the rocks. Bed was comfortable. The place was kept up with maintenance and clean as well. The Beach Buzz cafe at Sapphire Beach had good Jamaican coffee or Lattes to get you started. Sun & Sea bar at Point Pleasant had a nice menu with pretty views and Tarpon Fish to see from the patio. Ferry to St Johns is close but parking got full for us. You might want to take car over for $60 or you'll pay for both parking and passenger ferry tickets, then additional taxi rides on STJ. We did go out to Cinnamon Beach and I think that is relatively simple to drive, but beyond that or to south beaches I cannot vouch for. Again the place was very nice, we had no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay at Melissa’s! It’s near Sapphire Beach so the area is beautiful. Her place was a perfect fit for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to St. Thomas!

100/10 would recommend this beautiful island getaway!! The inside was incredibly spacious, clean and a perfect place to unwind after a long day in the sun! The back patio view has to be among the best Airbnb views on the island looking over Famous Megan’s and Hull bays! Sunrise and sunsets were our favorite part of the day with the views! Also had any amenity you needed including beach gear, laundry area, loaded kitchen, yoga mats for morning stretches and a nice grill for the afternoon!

This is a great place close to the beach for travelers on a budget. It's a short walk to Sapphire Beach, The Beach Club, and the Sapphire Resort taxi stand. There is also plenty of parking for a rental car. We appreciated the spacious living and bedroom area, the fully equipped kitchen, and the larger shower with complementary shampoo, conditioner, soap (I forgot my soap, so this was helpful), and it was very clean. The visitor manual is great at explaining the accommodations. We appreciated the travel guides/books. We booked this trip last minute and found them useful for information about the island and things to do. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, and cooler. It made visiting all the beautiful beaches so much easier. Also, the clear directions and pictures provided by the host made it easy to give directions to the taxis. Check in/out was easy. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great visit at Mayling's place! It was very clean and comfortable and provided what we needed for a wonderful vacation. She reached out with check-in instructions prior to our arrival and all communication was easy & friendly. A big plus was being able to walk into Cruz Bay for dinner & shopping! We would be happy to stay again.

This is a lovely Airbnb tucked away in the foothills of Fish Bay. The space is open and bright with 2 sliding doors out to a large deck that faces lush trees and the largest mango tree I have ever seen! The kitchen was well equipped and we made several dinners there. The bathroom was pristine and the king size bed very comfortable. We also took advantage of the snorkel gear that was on the porch. We would definitely return on a future trip to St. John!

Great views, easy to access and find, safe, and quiet. What more can I say about Myrla's place? I would stay here again if given the chance.

Alexia's Airbnb was topnotch!! The home was beautiful with everything I could ask for that made my birthday week a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. But the most AMAZING part of the condo was the stunning view of the bay. It was pure joy to wake up every morning sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and my kindle to start my day. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

We loved our stay at Emily's. The house is cozy, clean and the nice thing easy parking (I know sounds silly, but I just realized how important it is when you travel to St. Thomas). The place is close to the restaurants, good for someone like me who doesn't like to cook when traveling. Emily is so nice and her instruction was pretty clear, so we can find the place pretty easy 👍😊

Great Location! It took us a little bit of time to find the location. It’s right next to St. Thomas’s yacht club. Once we arrived and checked in, we were pleasantly surprised it looked just like the photos. Me and My Husband stood 30 days. This is the first time I stayed at an Airbnb. I am so thrilled we did. The convenience of having a kitchen, a washer and dryer the freedom to come and go as you please. Nathan’s project manager Brittany was wonderful and took care of any mishap that will occur. The beds were extremely comfortable. He had everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Thank you again so much, Nathan. We definitely will be back in the future. You can’t beat the Location . the restaurants and so many attractions are endless .

We loved our stay on Sapphire Beach. The place was exactly as described. Perfect location right on the beach. Beautiful views and nice bar and food options right next door. The pool area was also very nice, and there is a taxi service right on the property which was very convenient. Darryl picked us up from the airport and made sure we felt right at home. This was the perfect spot for our Virgin Island getway. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!!

This stay was really nice for my bday …me and my husband had plenty of room everything was nice from the walk to the beach to the onsite resturant … The host was nice and let us check in early and check out 15 mins late he was very flexible . He contacted me days earlier because it was construction and he offered up options but he ended up moving us to another one of his updated units … We where in walking distance of the beach but a quick drive to redhook strip..I would highly recommend. And he DOES have a body mirror in the unit (that I asked for)

Had an amazing and relaxing stay at this condo. The views are indeed breathtaking. My wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary and enjoyed our stay. The condo is as beautiful as the photos and in a great location. When we weren't out and about, we enjoyed lounging on the balcony and taking in the views. Everything you need to make yourself comfortable and at home was provided. As first time visitors to the Island, we were thankful and appreciative of the detailed information and helpful tips Ross provided to make our stay even more enjoyable; such as where to get groceries, beach recommendations, places to eat and shop. We rented a car so it was easier to get around. When we return to St.Thomas, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views, comfortable and clean! Chris and Carol were excellent hosts. Very informative and communicated well. Responsive and friendly! The bed was comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. The AC worked great!!! Definitely follow the recommended temperature, it stays very comfortable. We did not want to leave!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

Heidi's place definitely has location going for it. It's on the beach and there is a coffee shop, bar, and restaurant right there. It's right by the marina where you can go parasailing and jetskiiing. There is also another restaurant past the marina. A few minutes down the road you'll find Red Hook which has restaurants and shops. You can also get the ferry to St.John there. In the other direction a few minutes away you'll find other restaurants as well as Coki and Lindquist beaches. If you don't have a rental car you can find lots on premises and very close. The place itself has everything you could need- fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, sunscreen, fans, toiletries.. Would definitely recommend for all of the above reasons!
