The hotel is just as it appears in the description, clean, tidy and very central, I would definitely come back. The best thing was the hospitality and attention of the staff, we really left very grateful.

Unconventional hotel, far from downtown but very conveniently located to enjoy the carnival. The staff is very professional, attentive and friendly. I felt very comfortable. The breakfast is homemade and tasty. The housekeepers are super attentive to details. Everything is clean and functional

Staying with Richard was a cozy experience! The facilities are beautiful and clean, and it's in an area close to the city's tourist sites. I highly recommend enjoying Barranquilla by staying at Casa Colonial!

Everything is clean and well-located

We felt very comfortable here. Johan was very friendly and accommodating. The room was as described and also the outdoor kitchen and pool was very nice. The location and breakfast also convinced us. There is still construction work on the building, so there was also noise in between, but that was no problem at all for us. We would definitely come back.

We felt very comfortable in the place, the hotel is beautiful, it has an incredible view, it is close to the beach, about a 10-minute walk. You can also take a motorcycle, taxi or bus that takes you there and back for an affordable price. The only recommendation is to be a little more aware of communication when renting through Airbnb. The hotel was amazing. Their lobby, near the pool, was lovely and we could work there briefly as it is not loud. Their fruits (particularly Mango) was amazing. I did not find better in Santa Marta so I ordered at the hotel both Juice and fruit platter every day. They helped us very much to find an honest taxi driver to drive us to Tayrona for a fair price. Its impossible to order Uber at the Tayrona as there is no signal there, so you need to arrange beforehand. Hotel is very close (5 min on foot) to the center where you can find many nice restaurants and bars. Downside - pressure in shower is extreemely low so ladies may not be able to wash their hair.

Really nice stay in Palomino! la Chapolin staff are very accommodating and friendly and the space is cleaned regularly and well stocked with everything you need. I’d avoid the restaurant at La Ola though. The food is not very good and the wait is very long (took over 1 hour to get one beer and additional hour to get some plantain chips with dips). Everything else is great though!

Excellent service, from the entrance they were all very friendly to us. We were given directions for the stay and places nearby. The place was very clean.

The host was excellent with us, the first day we had a problem with the shower and he solved it immediately, very friendly and considerate. He even washed our clothes.
