Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Madre de Dios

Lucho wasn’t just a host, he was our friend. This guy worked night and day to make our excursions happen! Did not expect that for such a cheap price! As well, the macaw that lives at the lodge is quite the character!

Très bel endroit un peu à l’écart de la ville, espace, nature, tranquillité et un accueil chaleureux ! Je me suis senti comme à la maison. Je recommande vivement.

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

If Melissa and I could give a 10 out of 5 review we would. Jaime and his entire family went above and beyond for us. Let me start by Jaime having his cousin pick us up at the airport. When we arrived we had nothing planned, Jaime sat down with us and went over all the excursions that are picked up right from the property. We chose our activities and it was all organized. We either met them at the dock or in the driveway. The family always made sure we made it away safely. The meals were amazing, large and very accommodating. Altering meals to our preference (I’m vegetarian). When we went to the city, we were provided with a list of places to go. The bed was very comfy, very clean and we woke up to the river every morning. The property was paradise with fruit trees, hammocks and docks to sit and watch the water. We will always think of your place when we think of Peru! Thank you for the amazing stay ! 🇵🇪 🇨🇦

This place is amazing if you want a quaint, quiet, personable, cozy slice of nature away from the city. All the plants, so pretty. They have a couple dogs and puppies, a few green parrots that meander the place throughout the day. Hammocks to relax in, a beautiful part of the river with a clean beach, and delicious meals cooked throughout the day. The rooms are airy and very open to the trees and natural light all around. The shower is only cold water but was welcome because of the hot weather that persisted during our trip in late September. They have trips to Tambopata that we didn’t do but the guides have good reviews and the people that went seemed to have enjoyed their time. The staff are sweet, caring, and communicative. This place was a breath of fresh air after running around Cusco, then Puerto Maldonado, staying at hostels and hotels. It was SO RELAXING, wow. Take a car taxi out there, we got a cart taxi to take us but it’s like 2-3 miles and bumpy. Cheers, Leo

The house is amazing, and feel secure. It’s also close enough to the Terminal Terrestre of Calca, which makes our trip much easier. The room is tranquil that we had a good rest and the shower is amazing with stable hot water and water pressure. Italo has been helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Aida; the only drawback was the poor wifi signal in our room.

Lucho's place was an absolute dream! Set away from the town in the jungle it provided a place to escape and relax in nature. Lucho was a great host: he made every effort to make us comfortable and to show us the amazon. He is passionate about nature, conservation, and birding and he shares his enthusiasm with his guests on all of his tours. The food served at the lodge was excellent. Organic, fresh, and delicious. We would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone travelling to Puerto Maldonado.

El alojamiento está localizado en un lugar de fácil acceso, tranquilo y rodeado de abundante vegetación. Cerca del lugar, hay tiendas de abarrotes, una botica y varios restaurantes. El habitación contaba con lo necesario para mi corto viaje en Urubamba. Aunque hubo un inconveniente con el agua caliente, este fue solucionado rápidamente. El desayuno que ofrecen, a un costo adicional, es adecuado en cantidad y muy delicioso. Durante la estadía, William, Verónica y la pequeña Urpi me recibieron con gran amabilidad y estuvieron siempre dispuestos a ayudarme en todo momento. Recomendaría actualizar algunas fotos para reflejar mejor la belleza del lugar. Sin dudarlo, volvería.

las instalaciones son increíbles, todo el tiempo hay agua caliente, las camas cómodas, las frazadas calientes no necesitas. calefactor, es como sentirse en casa, el señor que cuida muy atento y está pendiente de todo deberían incluir el desayuno con el hospedaje xq no es mucha variedad, por la distancia tiene que tomar taxi , no pagar más de cinco soles en la mañana y noche hasta 8 soles.
