Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Madre de Dios

This is my third time, staying at the healing gardens it is a must stay if you enjoy gardens, quite spaces and nature.

Nice place, staff very helpful and kind, place close to main square and train station.

Maria’s place has the best of both worlds. It’s surrounded by farmland and animals, but is conveniently right next to the town of Urubamba. We had a medical need during our stay, and Maria was so kind and helpful. In fact, you will not find a better host than Maria. Maria, who is bilingual in Spanish and English, is very knowledgeable about tourism, transportation in the Sacred Valley. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Airbnb is actually nicer than the pictures. Having the second bathroom is quite a luxury when you have more than one person. The hot water in the showers is a little weak, a little tricky to regulate, but you’ll figure it out. You will meet 2 sweet donkeys, chickens, and I think 5 friendly dogs. We really enjoyed befriending the animals, however the dogs do bark (at cats etc) quite a bit. All in all we had a wonderful stay, such a great value. Many thanks Maria & Gustavo.

Our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teens - had a wonderful stay at this house! It is a beautiful setting, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts being prepared. We also arranged tours through the property and were very happy with the service, including Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!

Loved staying here. Sad we only stayed four nights!! Beds are comfortable. Views are amazing. Breakfast is delightful and yummy and filling. Coffee is fabulous. Lovely town. But best of all, Stan and Edith are two of the nicest people you could hope to meet! They helped us over and over again. We loved our tour that they arranged as well.

Nice place to disconnect and get in touch with nature

This is a fantastic place to stay while in Ollantaytambo. Antonio and Deyanira are the most responsive, accommodating and available hosts my partner and I have encountered on any booking we have ever placed on AirBnB. The location is great for getting to Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley scenic locations and ruins. Furthermore, the hosts helped us arrange transportation throughout our stay, a Sacred Valley tour, and prepared tasty breakfast. Even when we departed at 5:30 AM for Machu Picchu, the hosts sent us off with a bag of snacks, water and a sandwich. Any and all questions we had throughout our stay, they had answers and resources. This is a scenic and central location made all the better by the great hosts. There were some neighborhood dogs nearby at night so recommend ear plugs for sensitive sleepers. All in all a one of a kind AirBnB.

The stay at nelida's was really nice. She has also a restaurant where dinner and drinks are available for selection. Although the food range is not very extensive (3 dishes to choose from) whatever is offered us made with care and passion. The location is outside the main center which makes it quite peaceful. All in all a good package for our short stay in Puerto Maldenado.

Very picturesque accommodation with a beautiful view. They offer a good breakfast. It is advisable to take a motorcycle taxi since cars do not have access to the street. Many thanks Edison!
