I have traveled for business all over the world. You should also understand that I am typically a very hard person to satisfy and I’m also a very hard “grader” when considering services rendered. Ms. Cielie and her staff certainly know a few things about being an accommodating host. Other than my own home, this was the next best and most comfortable stay I’ve experienced to South Africa over the last seven years. If you have an opportunity to stay on their property, I am absolutely sure you will not be disappointed. I look forward to re-visiting Eshowe in the not so distant future. I know Simbithi, that is why I wanted to stay there. It’s a pleasant and peaceful place/estate. And well situated in the Ballito /Salt Rock area. Kylie’s place is great with a huge balcony. Great shower, well equipped kitchen. Being alone that was more than enough for me.

Mam Ntombifuthi’s place was absolutely lovely to stay in. Clean and comfortable beds and bedding the overall house was just comfortable. I think her rate is a bargain for her place.

A round house with a thatched roof is set against a backdrop of rolling hills. The exterior is made of natural materials, displaying a combination of earthy tones. A grassy yard surrounds the house, offering ample outdoor space.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Sibongile's place. The peace and beauty of the place, the kindness of Sibongile and Mduduzi, the willingness of the neighbors to help, the connection to nature were so many things one can only wish for ! We shared meals and stories : what a special stay ! Thank you for making us feel welcome in a place full of history ! Merci Sibongile !
