Couldn’t have chosen a better cabin for our family Christmas celebration. Perfect for large families, or two separate families. Tiffany was an amazingly responsive host, the cabin was pristine.

We had a really nice visit. Very relaxing and a great location. Kids really enjoyed the air hockey :)

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The peaceful surroundings, thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. We truly didn’t want to leave! Every detail from the sparkling clean interior to the stunning views reflected the love and care that was put into this place. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for, and then some. We made so many wonderful memories and captured some gorgeous photos that we’ll treasure forever.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had so many thoughtful touches. All the extra information provided by the host was incredibly helpful. And the view was as gorgeous as the photos! We would definitely go back.

The Round House hosted by Danielle and Chris felt like a real home. It had spacious bedrooms and a living room with plenty of comfortable seating. It was beautiful inside and out with blooming cherry trees, dogwoods, and redbuds in view. We all enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere. The house was well-kept and clean, no maintenance issues. There were multiple spots with great views of the mountains, especially the deck just off the living room. The beds were comfy, with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The studio downstairs had a firm king-sized bed. The hot tub and firepit outside were a perfect ending to the daylight hours, relaxing and making s’mores. In my daughter’s words, “Everything was perfect!”

The location is incredible! Stunning views from high up on a mountain. The cabin is the nicest mountain cabin I’ve ever rented. It had all the comforts and felt a little luxurious and new. Very nice kitchen with all the supplies we needed for 2 days of cooking in. The whole place was extremely clean with nice furniture and decor. We will come back next time we need a mountain cabin.

This place was beautiful, well kept and absolutely wonderful. The park at the bottom of the hill provided great outdoor space for my family to stretch their legs. Would recommend this to anyone.

Very impressed for our first Airbnb experience! Beautiful place, exactly as described, the mountains roads to the cabin are a fun adventure and hot tub under the stars is unbeatable! Definitely won’t want to leave once you get there! Communication 10/10 hosts are friendly and responsive!

This would be my second staying here.. The view is still awesome. Went for a walk and the wife freak out when me and the son (12) was not back by dark....(great for the day hikers). They helped calm the wife down... enough of that... anyways the area is great the view from the cabin is the best, and and his wife will stay clear and leave you to yourself but will be there is you should them....great...stay

Wonderful visit to this beautiful location right in Cullowhee. We were visiting our daughter at Western Carolina U. We had our dogs with us and it worked our perfectly.

This place is cute and accurately depicted in the listing. The open field was great for the kids to throw the football. Morning coffee on the deck by the creek was equally beautiful and peaceful. Really quick ride to WCU, would definitely recommend staying here if you need a place by campus.

I was very impressed by the communication from our host! The house was immaculate, charming, and very well equipped. I highly recommend this host and his house!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at the Caretakers Cabin for spring break. The entire grounds were amazing, magical and well thought out. We were able to check out some local hiking spots as well as breweries/ restaurants! The kids would have been perfectly fine if we never left the property at all. They were able to run free and play in the stream. They also loved petting and feeding the animals. I would highly recommend.

Carolyn was as wonderful as her cabin & our time there! Check in/out was easy, directions were straightforward, responsiveness was almost immediate, and the cabin/surrounding woods/location was just a dream and everything we hoped for - complete with a fully stocked kitchen, firewood and kindling, hiking trails accessible straight from the property, extremely comfortable beds, a clean spacious bathroom, local art for sale on the walls, cozy details everywhere, a charming loft with movies, and more. I would 10/10 recommend taking the opportunity to stay here - and want to thank Carolyn and everyone else involved that helped make our mountain weekend getaway just perfect!

Stepping into this beautiful house felt like you were staying with friends. The home is so beautifully decorated with art, and it had everything you could possibly need. From stocked firewood to stacks of cozy blankets, and even coffee there for us to make in the morning. Judy has thought of everything to make guests feel welcome. We loved the two separate spaces, and our kids loved the loft. Being next to the creek was incredibly peaceful. We are already planning another trip back to this amazing home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay the place was so cute and such an amazing view sitting out on the porch was the best part of our trip. Love that it is dog friendly as well. Shannon was a great host and was very good about answering any questions! The place was easy to find and easy to get in! We will definitely be back! And they did have an outdoor fire pit as well. We did not use it but next time definitely will.

Exactly what I was looking for, seclude and with a lot of nature around it, but close to a lot of recreation. Great place for relax.

Mary Anne was an extremely responsive and proactive host. She gave us great recommendations on hikes along with instructions on road closures. This location is amazing, cute towns within 10 mins, an hour to Asheville, so many hikes and things to do. The host thought of everything, she had so many little things that are annoying to buy for just a few days stay. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and Mary Anne by far is the best host ever. The cabin is a great value for the location for what you get. Beautiful Mountains views and very peaceful neighborhood. We will be back sooner than later!

Such a unique experience, Jessie went above and beyond to make this a truly unforgettable stay. The amount of detail in the cabin was incredible. Such a private and beautiful location. Cell service is nonexistent so it was a nice off-grid getaway for us.

The house was an absolute gem! Clean, charming, and all the amenities for relaxing in the mountains—large outdoor deck with beautiful views, spacious fire pit area, large hammock in the screened-in porch. We had our two young children with us, and the TV loft stocked with tons of board games and puzzles was perfect for when we weren’t outside. The host stayed in great communication during our stay, and made sure we always had everything we needed. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful area, but close enough to town (Cashiers and Highlands) for restaurants, groceries, and activities. We will definitely be back!

We came to Jonathan’s place to celebrate our son’s birthday and meetup with friends from out of town. The cabin was perfect and cozy. Plenty of rooms, games and 2 (yes two!) fully stocked kitchens with everything you need to make small or large meals. We slept well every night in the super comfy beds. Our boys loved having the downstairs area all to themselves, they felt like it was their own little apartment. The views were absolutely beautiful and it was all super close to town. Pro tip, the cabin is located in the mountain behind the Whistle Stop Antique store.

This place was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, private, and secluded. After a day of hiking and exploring Bryson City, we decided to stock up on food and stay in for the rest of our 4-day trip. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, and I loved cooking while enjoying the stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. The fireplace and hot tub were both fantastic. The bed on the first floor was comfortable, though after a couple of nights, I developed a backache – it may have been a bit too soft for my liking. My son, however, was very happy with his bed on the second floor. One downside, which had nothing to do with the property itself, was the presence of dead trees, likely due to the timing of our visit. While the sunrises were beautiful, they didn’t quite live up to the pictures. Another small disappointment was the lack of hiking trails right within walking distance of the home. At least my dogs loved the daily hikes up and down the paved road.

Quiet, clean, feels like home, creek is so peaceful, all the spices and kitchen things needed, comfortable beds, plenty of space for games and dinners. Larry went above and beyond!
