Our "cottage" is located right on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometer away from the neighbors and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! We have expanded the former granary under the roof of the old customs castle: 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 combined kitchen/living room, ideally suited for a cozy stay with a historic ambiance. The flower corner in the courtyard with table and benches is also at your disposal. The city, park and pier are within walking distance. We welcome you to our farm and offer you a break in an exceptional loft. Enjoy the wonderful Maifeld directly at Eltz Castle. In less than 30 minutes, you can be at the Nürburgring, the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz or the Reichsburg in Cochem. Visit the wine-growing villages of Treis-Karden or Winningen on the Moselle and hike on the Traumpfaden and the Moselsteig. Start excursions to the World Heritage Site Middle Rhine Valley, Trier, Cologne, Bonn and Frankfurt.

The house is surrounded by greenery and yet close to the city. The panorama over the Rhine Valley and the city up to the Deutsches Eck is unique. The house is flooded with light. In the living room there is a Steinway grand piano and a library. Have breakfast in the conservatory or on the terrace in front of the kitchen. One of the bedrooms is particularly large and has its own bathroom. In three of the bedrooms, the mattresses have been on the floor so far.

This unique place has a style all its own: ecological materials such as clay and wood give the house a unique flair and an unsurpassed indoor climate. The half-timbered house, built in 1622, is modernly furnished. A wood and pellet stove creates a special evening feel-good atmosphere.

Mehr Mittelrheinromantik geht nicht.
