Greg's house has the most beautiful view we have ever seen. The house is gorgeous, the furnishing stylish and the architecture is perfectly designed to allow you to enjoy the view from any place in the house, even the bathroom. We particularly loved the view from the open air kitchen. The beach below the house is perfect for enjoying the ocean, and at low tide you can walk on the reef and enjoy looking at a myriad of sea creatures that live in the rock formations. A fabulous place for a wonderful weekend.

This was one of the most beautiful places we went to on our trip to Mozambique. We all had a great time at Jorge’s apartment. The space was perfect for our needs and in a great location. There was a bit of construction in the building next door which was a small inconvenience and unavoidable. The hammering and drilling became white noise after a short while. Without reservation I would recommend this property.

Entire experience of the stay exceeded our expectations! Marlene was very sweet and prompt to reply each time we needed anything. Was able to buy chicken, seafood and a great massage from locals. Wonderful staff for prompt cleaning multiple times a day and the most amazing views. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Santa Maria Beach!

We had a great stay at The White House. The place was in a great location with a wonderful view. The porch was very comfortable with a hammock, large table and sitting area. We enjoyed sitting outside. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here during a very tense political situation for Mozambique and Maimuna was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating when I had to extend my stay at the last minute due to flight cancellations. I still felt safe in the neighborhood, which is lovely and secure, and walking distance to plenty of stores and restaurant options. Maimuna’s father, a retired historian with a library to die for (an unlisted perk of the space) was a much needed rich source of information and context for what was happening outside. My Mozambique trip was cut short and limited my exploration to Maputo but this couldn’t have been a better spot to be in given the situation. I hope to return to Mozambique during brighter times and this will be the first place I book when I do.

Be careful if you're using Map GPS to navigate to this hotel. I ended up in a harrowing drive through remote bush paths, got stuck in swamps... Just be a tad careful. The food is excellent, the staff marvelous and the view is worth the drive.

Awesome place, everything was perfect, really loved staying there!! Calm location, walking distance to everything you need and downtown Maputo. The room is in the floor above the rest of the apartment, that only has the terrace and the room so one can have a lot of privacy. Daniel and X were great hosts, always incredibly friendly and very helpful with everything, felt right at home :)
