We had a lovely time in this multi suits home. It is centrally located and allowed us t walk every where in town. Lots of cafes around for morning coffee and a bunch of food, authentic restaurants. We hope to return in future

La casa rural se encuentra ubicada en un pueblo precioso que merece la pena visitar. La casa es una maravilla, muy espaciosa y limpia. Está todo muy cuidado y con mucho menaje. I can truly say that this was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. (And I experienced a lot of Air Bnbs). Puri and Paulo made me feel so welcome. I was traveling alone and after Porto I really wanted to see the Douro Valley and the vineyards. This was the best decision. The whole Douro area is just stunning and definitely worth a visit. And Puri's house makes it just perfect. After a long drive through the Douro Valley, Puri and Paulo welcomed me with delicious cheese and ham and most of all very tasty red wine and a 43 year old port. The best port wine I have ever drunk. In the morning I jogged around the village and it was just beautiful, in the evening they showed me the bakery of the village where they sell bread only in the evening and it was so nice. All the recommendations Puri and Paulo gave me were perfect and I enjoyed my trip through the valleys to the fullest. My room and bathroom were very clean and the backyard was just beautiful and a perfect place to relax. They showed me their wine cellar and where they make the delicious jam we had for breakfast every morning. All of Puri's food is super delicious and worth trying. Once I'm back in Portugal I will definitely go back there and can highly recommend a stay here! Many thanks to Puri and Paulo for being so welcoming. In German there is the term "Gastfreundschaft", a combination of guest and friendship. And that is what I found here. Thank you very much!
