From the moment we booked our host Irma was helpful and answered all queries. The house was as described and exactly what we hoped for. We had easy instructions to follow and she was there to meet us with little gifts of local bread and bits. She helped us with places to go and even took us on a lovely walk around the town and along the canal to see a beautiful sunset. The house whilst in a beautiful, peaceful location was close for us to visit all the towns we planned to including Gouda, Delft, Kijkduin and seeing the tulips. We had a lovely holiday which was made even better by having such a wonderful host.

Holiday home near forest, beach and culture

This part of a former farm is rented by Robert and his family and can take up to 10 persons. We visited it during a family gathering and trip in the Netherlands, and found the place ideal for a family vacation. We had plenty of place, and one highlight was the old, but comprehensively equipped kitchen with huge sinks. Although there is no directly usable garden section for the guests apart from a well separated alcove for grilling and dining with a large table, the kids had fun playing around in a closeby field, and the adults could do nice morning jogs alongside the canals and in the close forest, thereby enjoying the rural atmosphere. The sea in Hoek van Holland is a tad far away to walk (around 5 km), but bikes are available for rent in town and taking the car is also easily possible, since parking is free in the huge beach parking lot. Such a lovely place to stay. Very peaceful and so quiet at night. Absolute bliss! The house is next to beautiful stables, therefore expect to be surrounded by horses. However, nothing nicer than waking up by beautiful forest scenery, sheep in the next door meadows or a cheeky horse staring at you. The house itself is clean, well equipped, modern and has everything you need. The hosts are very flexible and easy to reach out to. I will certainly be back to this gem.

Thanks Cathy and John for your hospitality. Particularly thanks John for picking us up even though we were late due to train delays. Your place was really nice, modern and neat. Fascinated by the app controlled lighting and other devices you had set up. Loved your humour and spirit behind your overcoming of the things that would normally be challenges for other people. My daughter remarked that she had never seen that many inspirational quotes. Very nice.

The communication at the beginning, before the trip started, was already super friendly. Due to a construction site, Floor had sent me a screenshot of the route directly, so we arrived at the accommodation without any problems. On site, it is beautiful and quiet. Horses, chickens and pheasants can be seen on the farm. There is also an extra dedicated parking space for Air BnB guests. Floor welcomed us warmly and explained everything in the apartment. She also gave us many tips on what to do over the weekend. Delft is definitely a good recommendation here. Floor also responded super quickly to last-minute messages. We ordered the homemade breakfast on the last day. It was super delicious and is definitely worth the price! I will definitely come back. Thanks again, dear Floor. 🧡

The house on the water is really very nice and the location great as a start for various excursions. We had everything you need, but a bit of basics was missing in the kitchen (no spices, garbage bags were too small, no dish soap, etc.). We also didn't see the microwave. Basically, you have to get everything you need in everyday life (toilet paper, paper towels, tabs, etc.). But otherwise, it has it all. Some rooms should not be entered, which I always find difficult when renting an entire place. It is also a pity that there is a huge hot tub outside that you are not allowed to use. Otherwise we felt very comfortable. The house is very clairaudient, you have to know that and the room at the top is not bordered with a door. The location is great and communication was also straightforward. All in all recommended 😊

Wonderful place. Kids (4, 6, 8) loved the shared attic rooms. They slept through the night and had no issues with the stairs. Lovely setup with table and kitchen area too. Shower/bathroom made bedtime easy! Parking was close. Easy to turn around by the new pump station before the gravel path. Beautiful setting, lots of wildlife!

I really enjoyed Romana's beautiful home. The place was very clean and was equipped with all the comforts I had nice weather so I enjoyed the sun on the sofa in the backyard. Maasland is very nice for hiking and after a 5-minute walk already in nature. A nice kitchen, a good bed and a particularly nice bathroom I wish Romana good luck she received me well and helped me with all my questions

The apartment is in a 300-year-old house, basicly arranged inside but enough for 4 unpretentious. In the bedroom with a bunk bed it can be more complicated for someone taller to climb into the top bunk or for someone claustrophobic to sleep. I didn't have any of these issues. The location is exceptional, in an idyllic area, near a canal where you can see swans and ducks. By car you are close to a lot of points of interest at max. 1 driving time: Rotterdam, The Hague, Kastel de Haar, Utrecht, Gouda, Brielle. Peter, the host, lives next door and is super kind, gives you tips to make your life easier around. Important if you rent the car: you have permanent parking place in front of the house.

I had an amazing stay at Jonas' place! Jonas and his wife are incredibly warm and welcoming, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was very spacious, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and friendly place. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks to Béatrice and Aad for hosting us and for their availability. Always ready to answer our questions while respecting our independence. Very accommodating for check-in and checkout. Very clean accommodation, nicely decorated, quiet, with a very large bedroom. Thank you for the breakfast provided. Well located for taking public transport and visiting surrounding cities.

Sydney's apartment is bright, clean, comfortable and well-equipped (you can find everything in her kitchen😊). It is located in a residential area - the city of Vlaardingen west of Rotterdam - where we were able to easily park our car (and for free). 5-10 min walk to 2 supermarkets and the metro. So, by public transport, Rotterdam Centre is accessible in about 15-20 minutes, depending on where you want to go (Beurs, Blaak, Delftshaven). Finally, Sidney is a great host, welcoming, very sociable, very funny and very helpful (e.g., didn't understand how the lock worked but, no worries, Sydney was there😉). And then, he is accompanied by Jaxx the cat, very cute and adventurous 😉 (willingly wanders around the neighborhood). So I highly recommend Sydney and his apartment!

It's a wonderful room in an amazing location. The nearest metro is so close by 8 minutes walk tops. Along with there is a lot of stuff nearby.
