This condo is within walking distance from Mariner's pool and restaurant but is quieter than the buildings close to the pool. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Acorn Hill in Lynchburg, Virginia, has an apartment which was built to accommodate larger groups and families. It is located next to our main lodge and on is the top floor of our Spa & Salon with a private entrance in the back. Small dogs welcome, additional fees apply (typically $25 per day per pet; discounts may be available for longer stays). All stays come with a made to order breakfast in our restaurant, the Bistro, located inside the main lodge.
