The place is as advertised and more. Those who've been to Kisumu know how hot and uncomfortable the nights can be. Not Raj's place. The place was cool during the day and at night. No mosquitoes to complain about regardless of the close proximity to the lake. Raj was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back on my next trips to Kisumu. A true gem

Getting there was quite tricky as the dirt road leading to the location was in a very bad state after all the recent rains. But super friendly staff member came on a motorbike to meet us and guide the rest of the way. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed, like doing the laundry for example. Highly recommend staying here!

Frank's place is a piece of heaven. I had an absolutely incredible stay at this lakeside Airbnb! The views were simply breathtaking - waking up to the serene lake every morning was a dream come true. The property itself was charming and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The place is way better than the photos. The host was also incredibly welcoming and accommodating, providing helpful tips and ensuring that my stay was perfect in every way. I highly recommend this Frank's place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views and fantastic food, there is a kitchen within the resort. I can't wait to return!

Evans place was a fit stopover for our long family road trip. It was easy to find and access. Evans communicated well from the beginning. The home was large enough for my family of 7 - with four children sharing the double decker and one the single bed. Very quiet and serene. It felt safe. It is a short drive from the main road. There is a lot of parking space and grounds for children to play and roam around. A certain boy offered to wash our car for a small fee - that was helpful. There are chairs and sitting space on the grass to sit or talk and a balcony attached to the bungalow. Swings for children. The lighting of the house is very good. The showers work and the water is hot. Evan's dad was 5 star! What can be improved? Have a Smart TV since there is WiFi:the DStv was not working. Avail or ask guest to carry mosquito repellants. Remove construction material in the house (door frames) and have slightly comfortable sitting room chairs (longer stays). Overall good. We can return.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely home. The room was clean,cozy and exactly as described in the listing. Caroline was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The location was perfect—quiet, safe. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations to the point where Im happy to say that this place has now become our Kenyan home! we can't wait to return. great service, nice place, walkable to main street/restaurants. Great restaurant on the side of the building clean and decent. kettle and juicer i was super early (nighttrain) luke, the security guards and the cleaning lady helped me to get inside and let my stuff. i went out for a run, when i came back it was all ready to go. Luke came even to check if i was allright!

Rose was very accessible right from when we she accepted the booking. She immediately got in touch to explain the location and ensure that the place would suit my expectations. Security was great and the kids loved the place.

beautiful grounds, kind folks caring for it. and jiten was over and above helpful and kind to us (weary) travelers that day! very appreciative and hope to be back.

The host is wonderful, very accommodating and extremely responsive to our requests. House was spotless and the laundry lady even went above and beyond. Rooms are spacious and homely and guards/caretaker very polite. I recommend the Tom Mboya house due to proximity to town.

A table is elegantly set with white plates and neatly arranged napkins. Glassware is positioned around a central decorative yellow tablecloth. A staff member, attired in a formal outfit, stands beside the table, assisting in the preparation for dining.

I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so I didn’t hesitate to request the place again when I found I would be returning. As before, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the service and food were great. Recommended!.

The property is awesome, very secure with lush green gardens, a lovely mango orchard, running water, a fully equipped kitchen. We had our own private entrance and the property was just a few minutes to Siaya town.. My 6 yr old son really enjoyed - chicken, geese, cats, cows and a lovely compound. Jane the host welcomed us like long lost friends and was readily available for any queries. Lovely host, lovely stay!
