Clear sight-lines and floor-to-ceiling windows give the loft an airy, Bohemian feel. Follow the wood floors to each room, proudly displaying thoughtfully selected art. Born in Belmonte in 1954. In Paris, in the Louvre School, he attends the Drawing courses. Colabora no Revista Cimaise, dedicated to Contemporary Art. It is in the 1980s that Luís Lemos holds several solo exhibitions in Europe. We can situate his painting, also nicknamed "Bad Painting", in the postmodernism of the 1980s, which, among other manifestations, brought to us German Neo-Expressionism, whose savage and brutal thematic gesture assume in the creation of Luís Lemos a tumultuous, instinctive painting where the subversion of Desire is allied with Eroticism as a form of transgression. With exhibitions held in important foreign galleries, it was only in 1995 that Lisbon attended his retrospective at the Galveias Palace.
He currently lives between Lisbon, where he has his boutique hotel with 23 years of history, and Paris, where he continues to work on his great passion for art.
