We had an unforgettable experience in Luxor, all thanks to Mon (Ayman) – the most welcoming host I’ve met in years. He organizes tours that are far more personal, authentic, and beautiful than anything on GetYourGuide. We visited all the temples, enjoyed a peaceful felucca ride on the Nile on sunset, saw the temples lit up at night, and ended with a delicious local BBQ dinner. Mon even picked us up from the airport and brought us back. We spent the whole day together, and it honestly felt like being with a friend. His Airbnb is spotless, beautifully designed, and has a lovely terrace to relax on. I can truly say, hand on heart, that Ayman is the best host you’ll ever meet — and that’s coming from someone who rarely leaves reviews. He’s not just a guide, but someone who genuinely cares about his guests’ experience, and it shows in every detail. If you want to discover Luxor in the most authentic, warm, and memorable way, Mon is the one to go with.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The flat is spacious, spotless and you can’t go wrong with the view of Medinet Habu. Masrya, her Dad, and her Aunt extend a warm welcome and are pleasant to talk to. Masrya also is a great cook. Highly recommend!

Staying at Mohamed’s place was truly a highlight of my trip to Egypt. He is a warm, humble, and incredibly generous host—always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. From the very first moment, I felt safe, welcomed, and at ease. The location is absolutely perfect: tucked away in a peaceful area surrounded by banana trees, yet just a short 10-minute walk to the Nile and close enough to walk to nearby restaurants. It strikes the perfect balance between calm seclusion and easy access to local amenities. The room itself was cosy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I could possibly need—even a hair dryer, which was such a pleasant surprise! This was simply the best experience we could wish for on our first visit to Luxor. The house itself is very spacious with super comfortable beds and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The outdoor spaces and the balconies are just divine with panoramic views across the Nile. The pool was the perfect temperature and a must after being out in the hot sun. The house is better than the photos. What really made our stay so amazing was the host Arlene, the Hotel staff next door and the most amazing taxi driver Ahmed...all of who could not do enough for you to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it could be. The hotel food was delicious and very well priced for the huge amount you were served. There is also a small family run restaurant 'The Farmers House' just past Djorff Palace Hotel, where the food is incredible - Veggie option is the best! Thankyou Sayed, Osman and a MASSIVE Thankyou to Arlene and Ahmed, for making us feel like we had a second home in Luxor. WE WILL BE BACK!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely apartment on the west coast of Luxor, great location to visit the monuments, temples. Clean house, the photos exactly match what you will find, the family is friendly, hospitable and will help you if you need anything. Taste Amida's food because it's really worth it!!!! Excellent value for money, enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful garden and get up early in the morning you will see a lot of hot air balloons pass over your head ...a truly unique experience. Very nice villa with good location. Bidwin is very halpful and friendly and we got good friends. He helped us with the trips and we got always food from him. He also gave us his motorcycle which we used to go to the ruins like King Valley or Hatsepsut temple. All in all very happy with this Airbnb.

This is a very charming place to stay if you are looking for a traditional and countryside feel on the West Bank of Luxor - and very near to all the amazing temples. Refaie is a fantastic host and showed incredible hospitality. The house has everything you need, is private, comfortable and modern. It is very suited for people who are active and can walk around or who have a car. The small garden is lovely. Overall, a special place and I will definitely be coming back.

First of all the Airbnb is really very well located. Also the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it. the owner is really helpful. Many things can be done on foot. Perfect.

Elnopy, is so helpful and communicative, if there where any small issues he was right there to make them better. The location is great plenty of amenities but a quiet street. We were so comfortable we extended our stay!

Friendly and dedicated host. He has a very high understanding of the Luxor area, and you can hear interesting stories about ancient Egypt that you can't read in books. The view from the house is very nice, and at dawn you can take pictures with the wonderful scenery of Bolun Tour. All the furniture is newly purchased, and they try to accommodate guests' requests as much as possible. The host is also a local guide, and you can get a variety of recommendations and professional knowledge. Fluent in English, so no problem communicating

We were received in a totally friendly manner. The complex, both the pool and the roof terrace, are wow. The view from the roof terrace is gigantic! Quiet location, easy to walk to. We lacked nothing. We would book with Diana again in a heartbeat. Thank you for the pleasant and uncomplicated stay.

Omg what a place. Plenty of space. very clean. The best part of this airbnb was ALI. His hospitality 10/10. The airbnb is alittle inside but 100% worth it. Bed is so comfortable. Hot water was available at all times. Basically all in all it's the best place in luxor.

Ahmed's apartment is very nice place to stay. Good location, quiet area. I was unfortunate to stay during the massive water outage in the city and it was quite a challenge to survive without a water supply in the apartment, however I can't blame the apartment, since the outage was all over the city.

Great place, large, clean with a nice pool. Host was nice enough to pick us up at 11PM from the bus station. Beds were comfy but sofas were a little hard. Area is quiet and about a 15 minute walk to restaurants and just convenience stores nearby.

I would book again. I have no complaints.

The apartment is a bit old but clean and cozy. There is enough cookery in the kitchen, and a large wardrobe in the bedroom. All amenities were fine. The main benefit is the spacious private balcony and common rooftop with a spectacular view.
