Hotel vacation rentals in Luxor Governorate

Good communication with the host that helped us get to the hotel. The staff was very attentive and kind.

Great location on the quieter West Bank next to the ferry jetties. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room with a lovely view over the Nile, but it might be worth checking whether you get this when booking. Bedroom was a good size, but the 2 double beds listed were more like 2 singles, so we had one each. Bathroom needed a couple of things sorting out, but served it's purpose fine. Swimming pool was nice with loungers and they provide beach-towels. Nearby there were small shops and a pharmacy and a few nice restaurants. Go immediate right out the hotel, or right along the Nile to have a look. Quickest and easiest was across the Nile is using the flotilla of private boats immediately opposite the hotel. They'll be harassing you the second you leave the hotel and you'll need to haggle with them, but worked out that paying 100EGP was about right and stuck to that. Public ferry is 80EGP, but takes longer. Overall a nice stay.

We are extremely satisfied with our stay at the Malkata house. Especially with Ahmed at the reception. He was there for all our questions. Was able to plan a later check-out for us at no additional cost. Super friendly and a family feeling. The same applies to the cleaning team (father and son). Both very eager and very friendly. The location is perfect for quickly visiting temples and other sights. Experiencing the hot air balloons from the terrace in the early morning was also a highlight for us. The food as well as other tours and other things that could be booked via a link went very smoothly. Recommended from the heart. 🌇🫶🏻

The hotel was booked for 1 night - they came to Luxor with an overnight stay from Hurghada. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Karnak Temple. To the Luxor Temple for a taxi they paid $3 (distance 4 km). The room is clean, there is everything you need. Checked in immediately, without problems. There were few guests in the hotel. Breakfast is included. Breakfast is hearty, delicious, it will be ready for you by the time you order. Recommended!

I would first like to thank Moamen for the nice stay. It was exactly as written and as in the photos. Beautiful ambience, simple and easy to maintain and we liked the traditional furnishing style the most. 🙏👍👍👍😍The large apartment is wonderful, large bedrooms as well as the living rooms. The beautiful terrace is so beautiful and large. You can sit in the evening with a cold drink and enjoy the nice tranquility. Simply indescribably beautiful here. I would like to I say that everything exceeded our expectations but ___Attention !!!!!!!! My family and I enjoy and love this country, and try to get to know everything. The beautiful swimming pool is very good and clean, you can take it for a lunch break ♥️👍👍👍👍👍 IN OTHER WORDS WE CAN ONLY RECOMMEND I can recommend everyone to try it yourself you will not regret it 👋👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 we wish everyone else who comes after us a lot of fun LG Nico and Katja♥️
