We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge. I – Janine, a trained hotel manager – am particularly interested in bringing people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Welcome to our family-friendly accommodation for 3-4 people. It is close to the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours to "Kroppacher Schweiz" and with connection (1 km) to the Westerwaldsteig. Two playgrounds are not far away and there is plenty to discover, e.g. Hachenburg (4km) with the historic market square, the Marienstatt abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwälder Seenplatte, Bad Marienberg with climbing and zoo.

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Wenn du also Teilweise von dort aus arbeiten musst und dich gerne in der Natur aufhältst, dann bist du hier richtig aufgehoben. Natürlich eignet sich die Wohnung aber auch um dich zu erholen und einfach ein bisschen Dorfromantik zu genießen.
