Cozy “Up North” Getaway + Starlink Internet

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Home away from home! Loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat. Paige was a wonderful host, was extremely helpful and always quick to respond. The place was very clean, organized and well kept. I love the baseboard heating-kept me so warm and cozy! The king size bed was also SO comfortable. I loved the pillows and also the super soft throws to cuddle with on the couch. Thank you again and again!

Beach’s Trail Houz.

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lots of room/beds if you have a big group. Close to the trail head. King size bed was really comfortable. Everything you would need with tons of amenities. All and all a great place but could use some updating. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the end of our stay. Derek was very responsive and helpful!

Cozy UP in this spacious home *CENTRALLY located

PeterRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at Kendra's house for a snowmobile trip in Newberry. We were able to ride right from the house down the street to meet up with the trail, Kendra even sent us directions on how to find it. The use of the garage was great to help thaw out the sleds overnight and the big equipment room at the entrance to the house was nice to hang up gear and she even provided boot dryers and helmet racks. Big comfortable couch and smart TV were nice to relax at night. The house is located in a small quite neighborhood on a small lot with neighbors on both sides. Overall we had a great stay and Kendra was a great host. She was very friendly and responded quickly to our reservation and messages.

U.P. Memories

WhitneyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This tiny oasis tucked in a quiet area on Big Manistique Lake was the perfect location for our yearly February snowmobile trip. We normally travel all the way north to Houghton/Hancock, but decided to stay farther south in the UP for a change and were so glad we stayed here! The house is perfect for up to 6 people, clean, and in a great location for riders. Not only was the place immaculate, but Ron was an extremely responsive host. You can tell he takes great care of his rentals and cares about his guests. We looked to book for summer but see it’s already booked most of it, but we aren’t the least surprised. We will be back!

Gypsy Lodge- Fishermans Hole

Renee MarieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was the PERFECT place for a simple, serene getaway. Had more amenities that expected for a "rustic" accommodation. Great location away from everything. Just what we needed and love. Can't say enough about how awesome and PERFECT the accommodations/property was- SO wonderful!

Camp Two Hearted- Off-Grid & Riverfront Base Camp

JohnRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Perfect fall getaway! Aside from the outhouse (which was not bad at all for an outhouse) you hardly notice you're “off grid.” The solar-powered lights, woodstove & furnace, propane refrigerator, cookstove, and kitchen set-up made it a significant step-above camping. The hosts provide a book of area resources and maps that we found very useful. We wish they would have provided directions to their “secret rock spots.” We enjoyed the base camp and the excitement of daytrips in our Jeep on the backroads — but it was hard to leave the enjoyment of the camp. The setting is breathtaking: the Two Hearted below a stroll by day and a bonfire under the stars at night. What a secret gem!
The exterior of a cabin is viewed during twilight, with warm light glowing from the windows. A front porch is visible, and a flag is displayed on a nearby post. Surrounding greenery adds a natural touch to the setting.

Clean Cabin in the Woods. Great Location!!

TravisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Quiet and private home that was perfect for our snowmobile getaway. Lots of parking and just a few miles down the road from trail access. We visited in February and there was plenty of snow to ride the sleds directly from the house to the trail system. The entry room to the house is great for storing gear and prepping for the day. The home was great for our group of four adults -- enough beds, kitchen and table space, and living room lounging. Only negatives were the one bathroom (can get a little busy when starting off the morning!) and no wifi (which we were aware of prior). Definitely would stay again on future trips!
A red cabin is set against a backdrop of colorful autumn trees. The cabin features white window frames and a green metal roof. Seasonal decorations, including pumpkins and a skeleton, are displayed on the porch, enhancing the inviting look of the exterior.

Campbell James Cabin & Bunkhouse on the Trails

KimRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Wow, so impressed with this last minute reservation. We are avid snowmobilers, and this spot was perfect, catching a trail across the way to get on snow covered street to the actual trails in the UP. All 4 hosts were super helpful and responsive, like having 4 concierges at your fingertips. We will definitely stay here again. Home had lots of room to park our 4 place trailer. Shower was great after a long day on the trails. Keurig coffee was an added bonus. Bunk room was a nice hideaway off the main cabin.

True North - Cozy log cabin in the woods

AudreyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved our stay! It was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin is so nice! It is very well built. Decorated tastefully with a woodsy theme. Everything was clean! Plenty of household essentials. There were games, puzzles, coloring books, and crosswords, for both young and old. Comfortable couches and beds, and a large dining table that worked well for games and puzzles. The setting is AMAZING! Nobody around. Trees surrounding the cabin. Nice fire pit and chairs on the porch. It was a slice of paradise.
A wooden cabin with a front porch and multiple windows is surrounded by lush green trees. Several white chairs are arranged in a circle in the grassy area nearby, providing a space for relaxation. The clear sky adds to the serene setting.
