Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Luang Prabang Province

We had the BEST time at Keoudone's place. The house is beautiful and our room was just perfect! Our a/c worked splendidly although we didn't need to have it on all the time as the room stays fresh. The desk and chair were amazing for working, the wifi as well, strong and reliable 😉 The bed was big and super comfy, slept like babies everyday! The kitchen has everything one needs for a short or long stay! We wanted to cook all our meals in the week there and that we did! We never felt like there was something missing. My only recommendation is that if you're planning to cook too, bring your food from the city, there are one or two shops around, but with very limited products. There are also some street food kiosks but if you're vegetarian (my husband is) it'll be really hard to eat out. The week we spent here was our favourite week in Laos so far! If we ever come back, we'll stay here again! We also rented a scooter from Keoudone one day for the same price that in the city 😉

LOVED our stay here! This Airbnb is a beautiful resort, pet of Hilton’s Small Luxury Hotels in the World. This stay is gorgeous and the highlight of the start of our trip to Laos. The manager, Carl, was very kind and responsive to our needs as well. They use an app for all communication and have excellent activities and will help you book transportation as well. We are really please with our stay and only wish we could stay longer. We’ll be back!

David's wife Sakhone just dropped us off in Luang Prabang. We rode with her. There is no way words can do justice to describe how friendly, kind, pleasant this couple is. And their three adorable girls became our grand kids. Their place was perfect for our trip. Sakhone gave a great tour of the plain of jars. She cooked fabulous vegetarian meals for us. David is a very good cook as well. Great, ACTUAL, filtered coffee, not the instant poison. The airport is being redone. We had to take a 10 hour car ride from Vientiane, and another 10 hour car ride to Luang Prabang. Even after that, it is Pukyo Guesthouse that made everything very much worthy. We stayed 4 nights and we could have easily stayed longer. Thank you for everything Sakhone, and David. Hope to see you in October.

I loved Pheng's bungalows overlooking the river and just on the edge of the main area of Muang Ngoy village. She speaks fluent English, is a very chatty friendly and welcoming host. I met most of her extended family and they are all so cheerful and friendly. When visiting Muang Ngoy remember it is a small rural village, in a beautiful location, so don't expect the creature comforts of home, if you want those comforts Asia is not the place for your holidays. Muang Ngoy is a unique and wonderful place to visit, its the people who make it that way.

Perfect location in Luang Prabang with restaurants, cafes, bars and the night market all within an 5-10-15 minute walk:)! Extremely clean accommodation. The host and family are very kind:). Thank you Liang
