Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

I really enjoyed Rajib's place. Just to get it out of the way, the shower in the bathroom is the nicest once I've ever used - skylights with houseplants around - honestly forgot where I was for a few minutes, because it really feels like you're at a resort. Rajib's house is a cosy Victorian on the corner of two cross-streets, has lots of trees and greenery around, is in a nice-quiet neighborhood, and is accessible to the city via the T (shoutout Green Line Extension). It felt like home. There was just the right amount of communication (some hosts inundate you with information), so it was refreshing for everything to be short and to the point. Pippy, the resident house dog, was also very sweet - and sometimes followed me around when I was the only one home at the time.

Grace the owner was very nice. The house was magnificent if you appreciate Victorian architecture. But the first night our room was very hot and it seemed like there was no air conditioning. Other wise, it was perfect!

A wonderful B&B — and the breakfasts are above and beyond. Just tremendously delicious.

My husband and I felt right at home when we arrived. Mary served us tea and fresh baked bread. We met her adorable little dog, Asher and two delightful guests. Her house is immaculate and cozy. Our king sized bed was soooo comfortable with organic cotton sheets that Mary actually ironed! We slept very well. The street is a little busy during the day, but light throughout the night. Her backyard is very green, beautiful and spacious! A lovely deck beckons, but alas, the weather did not! We would not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity presents itself. Mary served us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed our conversations with her. All in all, our stay was like our home away from home! Thank you, Mary, for everything and kisses to little Asher!

A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+

We very much enjoyed staying at Carol's home. It was very cozy and clean, and she greeted us and even introduced her dogs and cat. It had everything we could ever need and it's in a prime location, we would highly recommend!

The bed was super cozy, the host was responsive and friendly, and the cats were adorable! I had a nice evening with the host chilling with the cats (and petting and playing with them) while watching TV, and when I stepped out for dinner I found a great place following her recommendations. The breakfast was great! The French toast was delicious, and the timing was perfect - made fresh shortly after I came downstairs, close to the time we’d discussed the day before. Check-in and check-out were simple too.

Kate was very friendly and responded quickly to texts/questions. She knows the area well, gave good recommendations for restaurants, etc and even drove us a couple times when it was raining. We were here for a graduation and were perfectly located close to BC and the law campus. The house and gardens were beautiful.

Marshall and Courtney have curated a hip, comfortable, and immaculate space that is a joy to spend time in. Addison Choate is nestled in an adorable walkable beach town that is an easy trip from Boston. We had a fantastic time, and will be sure to be back!

Very timely response once I booked. Someone was waiting outside at night and helped my daughter and I bring in our bags and gave us a tour and let us know some very helpful travel hints to Salem. Would recommend.

I love this place so much that I almost wish I could keep it a secret, but then all you wonderful people wouldn't experience being hosted by Martha and Tony. Idyllic doesn't even begin to describe their gorgeous property and you'll have a separate space from the main house to stay in - a renovated barn with a generously sized suite for guests. The space is filled with antiques, and you can tell that each one has its own story. The bed is super comfy, the room has a modern split system to keep the space at the right temperature, and the bathroom is pristine and has everything you need. What makes each stay really special is the farmer's breakfast that Martha brings to her guests in the morning, filled with fresh and warm goodies for every palate. Martha herself has become a dear friend to me over the years and I look forward to staying with her again in October.

Caroline is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful! She made us breakfast of our choice every morning and gave us many great suggestions. We also loved the location, it's a short bus ride to Harvard Square and transportation into the city. It is also walkable to a bodega and restaurants.

Staying with Myra is like visiting a great old friend in an incredibly warm and pleasant home located in a terrific part of town. Loved my stay and would absolutely return…and probably will.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks to such a considerate and thoughtful host. It truly felt like we were visiting an old friend’s home—the crib and toys thoughtfully set up for our toddler made us feel instantly at ease, and the fresh fruit and pastries waiting for us at check-in were a lovely touch. Örs was warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. The location itself is stunning and couldn’t have been more perfect. We left feeling relaxed and grateful—highly recommend!

Charles was a friendly and responsive host. The location was beautiful and close to shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay. The house was gorgeous.

I had a great stay at Peter and Jean’s place. They are friendly hosts who respect your privacy, which made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. The room was pleasant—bright with the shades up, and nicely dark when the shades were down to block out sunlight. The community is lovely and peaceful—perfect for a walk or just enjoying the calm atmosphere. Car parking was easy, which made coming and going stress-free. Jean was especially helpful and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a peaceful and positive experience. I would recommend their place to others.

We absolutely adored the Rajah Room. It was a beautiful space to stay for our one night in Salem and we would definitely book again in the future!

A beautiful craftsman style house near the center of Newton and a short drive to anywhere in the Boston area.

The place was cozy and comfortable. I slept soundly in the very “comfie” bed. I appreciated the ability to come and go as I pleased without any time restrictions as I was visiting family and would come in very late at night. Most of the weekend stay, I had the house to myself. Even when in the house with everyone present, I still felt free to move about the house and that really made a difference. The bathroom/restroom is small but fully equipped with everything I needed and the shower was perfect (water pressure, heat, etc). From the beginning and throughout the entire stay, Rob would say in his messages “welcome home” and truly, that’s what I felt for the entire trip and experience. I highly suggest staying here. They are the perfect hosts and have thought of everything to make someone feel like their space is your space. For that, I’m so grateful.

Lori is a gracious hostess, she welcomed us into her home which was immaculate. If your looking for a nice retreat I would definitely put this location on your list!
