Lovely traditional fisherman's cottage. Beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need. Two bathrooms are very welcome . The outside space is lovely at any time of day. . .The stairs could be challenging for people with mobility issues but we had no problem. The air-conditioning worked very well. The wifi is excellent and great to have Netflix. Norbert is a thoughtful and responsive host

We had a great week at Maria's house. The house was clean, tidy and equipped with every comfort. A nice place to relax and unwind. If we had any questions, we received help super quickly, within 30 minutes there was even service on site. Highly recommended!

Our host was very welcoming and responsive to requests. Just missing a mirror in each bedroom for women and a shelf in the bathroom to put the kits. Otherwise everything is perfect. Thank you

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

Dear Franziska, dear Sandro, we had a wonderful and very relaxing time in your great house. The amenities were perfect, the rooms tastefully furnished with a lot of love for detail and the heated pool very inviting. We also liked that there were so few other tourists besides a few surfers and hikers. However, you will definitely need a rental car to reach restaurants and supermarkets.

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

Beautiful villa as seen in photos. Location is excellent--quiet and pretty private yet 5-10 minute walk from loads of restaurants. Also a great market 3 minutes away that has way more than you'd imagine--food, drinks, whatever. Francisco is very friendly and helpful, with recommendations for places to go and things to do. He owns a beach bar about 15 minute drive away and set us up for a great time there, really appreciated. I'd go back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied with the accommodation and amenities. The studio was well-equipped with all the essential kitchen appliances, as well as a grill and an iron, which made our stay feel just like home. One of the highlights was the sunny terrace, where we spent our evenings watching shooting stars—it was truly magical. There was also a hammock available, perfect for relaxing during the day. The bed linens and towels were spotless and smelled absolutely amazing, which added a lovely touch of comfort and cleanliness. The surrounding area was charming and peaceful, with a pleasant walking path leading directly to the beach—an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. The host was very friendly, responsive, and always ready to help whenever we had questions. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Victor was a great host, very friendly and obliging. The apartment was in a great position next to restaurants and shops, very easy to get around and well insulated!

It was a pleasure to stay at Bento's place. The view is stunning, wide open with the sea far away on one side and the pool nearby on the other side. The balcony is a perfect place for a drink in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset. The apartment is quite comfortable, it is extremely well decorated and well equipped. Looking forward to my next stay in this beautiful apartment.

This is a lovely spacious apartment located in the old town close to all the restaurants. Big comfortable bed, large bedroom and large lounge. Nice big patio area ideal for outside dining. Local parking is very tricky but there is a paid parking station very nearby.

We had a wonderful time at Tom’s place in Ferragudo. There is lots to do in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. I hope we can be back soon!

The villa is amazing with spectacular views. Everything you needed was in the villa and more. The welcome pack was so generous and something not seen before. The area on top is amazing. Will definitely be back

One of my favourite Airbnb property. I was lucky to have this rent on the day where the all energy in the country was stopped. It takes me all day to arrive at this address due the problem. At all I didn’t manage to contact with the host. It is was difficult to use to arrive on time, but when we arrived the host put note in the door with message, that they will back again to see if we arrive. What’s meant that - the host all day after the check in hour been in front of the door to waiting for us. Very smart host, and very helpful. Thank you a lot. Regarding the place. Very good location. It is behind Lagos Marina, and 10 mins away from the centre. At all, everything is near as shops, restaurants, and the most beautiful beaches walking and 30-40 mins with car. The apartment is very clean and you have all the useful equipments. I felt like I am at home. Lovely neighbours which are ready to help you. I will be back sure. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful apartment with everything: kitchen with all the necessities and more, small terrace in front with morning sun. Larger terrace at the back with sun the rest of the day but half covered so that the sun does not shine in. View of swimming pool and hills. Electric shutters and air conditioning everywhere. We stayed for eight weeks over winter. The photos had accurately depicted the bungalow but hadn't expressed it's homely feel once inside. This was a home not a ' holiday let'. The owner had even put up a Christmas tree because we arrived on Dec 22nd. It was comfortable and well insulated for winter evenings. For warmer nights though the garden will be beautiful. There is plenty of outside seating and lovely garden lightening. The kitchen was well equipped and it would be possible to cook any style of cooking. There was always hot water from roof panels and the shower was modern and efficient. Perhaps, as with any home appliances, one or two may need replacing later this year but everything required was there. This property is in the countryside. The neighbouring properties have guard dogs which unfortunately do bark at the wild animals. We live in the countryside but this noise took us a while to get used to. A car is essential but the property is surrounded by beautiful country walks.

The price is very good. It's very close to where we want to go, but there are no shops and restaurants around. The environment is very good. There are a lot of people.

Great stay at Wolf's property 🤗 If you are looking for calm and beautiful landscapes, this is the place, between mountain, river, deer and nature! A big thank you to Wolf who was very welcoming, always available and smiling (despite our little adventures🙃). He gave us all the directions about the house and the surroundings to make sure we had a pleasant week. Very understanding, he accepted that we came with our 2 female dogs, to enjoy this haven of peace and freedom. (and they loved the place!). The wooden house was perfectly as described and is really very well-equipped. Everything was perfect, great week, a big thank you for offering this type of vacation 😊 PS: Follow Wolf's directions for check-in to avoid a more complicated route given by Waze 😉

We felt at home, the place is beautiful, we found super original the way it was decorated inside very authentic & peaceful, our two dogs, and one cat could freely move around, which was amazing. we also had a barbecue at our terrace and Silvia was always available and helpful. I don't agree with the previous review that the place is dirty and the path is very difficult, to be able to be far from the noise in the nature of course you have to go through a dirty road but it's super doable, easy and fast. Also is not true that the place was dirty it was super clean and cozy. It's perfect if you want to be away from the noise in the nature, but also close to everything. Thank you very much we will come back!
