I couldn’t have chosen a better place—or better hosts. Slyde, and especially Frederic, were more than just welcoming; they took the time to show me around and introduced me to wonderful people. I gained a lot of perspective both in art and life by having a lovely conversation with them. Aulnay-sous-Bois is a quiet yet vibrant and well-connected community, and the hosts represented the town perfectly. The room was cozy, and the house itself is filled with remarkable works of art. And as lovely as it was, it was also convenient—just a 3–5 minute walk to patisseries and grocery stores, another few minutes to the train station, and only 20–30 minutes from the heart of Paris. It was a beautiful experience—one that made it easy to call this place home, even if only for a few days.

We had an enjoyable stay. France, Danial, and their cheerful dog Marley were wonderful hosts. The room met our expectations, and the shower and toilet were spotless. The location was also great—just a 40-minute drive to Sartrouville, Paris, with easy parking and going to the city center by train. The village and neighborhood are charming, especially in spring. I highly recommend staying here!

I just spent 2 weeks at Huguens' I had never rented a room with a host. I never go in the kitchen. I eat out. Quiet neighborhood and no worries about parking. I sleep very well, the shower is always hot, no worries. I'm going back for 3 weeks.

Staying at Nathalie's house was very successful. We were greeted by the unusual and cozy atmosphere of this place and a very warm and friendly atmosphere in relation to the host. It fully met our requirements as people who like artistic style, warmth and friendly attitude from other people, and green and peaceful surroundings. Very good access to the city center. I can't imagine finding anything better at this price!
