Dala cottage with lake property

Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, it is possible to swim in the ice water from the jetty, if the weather allows, ski trails are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking paths. In the summer, you can take a ride with the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is located only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

Vacation home for rent daily or weekly. Vacation accommodation in a renovated log house. The house is located on the same property as the landlord's residential building. The house is 74 sqm on two floors with a small hall, kitchen, bathroom and TV room on the lower floor. Open sleeping loft with two single beds 90x200 and small bedroom with two single beds 90x200. Steep stair to upper floor. Smoking or pets are not allowed. During the coldest season, we would prefer to have your request 48 hours before arrival so we have time to raise the temperature in the cabin.

Guest house with lake view

Here, it feels like you're in the countryside, but still in town. You live in peace and quiet, without TV, by Lake Varpan with only 2.5 km to Lugnet's ski stadium and 3 km to Falun of Falun. You have 600 meters to the forest and Lugnet Nature Reserve. Swim in the lake from the jetty in the summer or take a dip in the ice hole in winter. Wood-fired sauna is available, bring your own wood if you want to use the sauna. In winter, if the weather and wind allow, there may be a plowed ice rink/walking path on the lake, and ski trails are usually prepared.

Only 3 km from Falu Mine, 5 km to Falu city center and 6 km to Lugnet sports facility. Possibility to rent a sauna on your own jetty. In winter, it is close to ski trails, long-distance skates and slalom slopes. Charger for hybrid car is included.

Welcome to Sveden, Svärdsjö, to our two-story timber house from the 1800s, which together with the barn forms our surrounding Dala farm. It is beautifully situated overlooking Borängetsjön and the forest in the hills and not far from Svärdsjö center with, among other things, ICA Supermarket and pizzeria. Sveden is an excellent starting point for art, culture, nature and sports experiences and no less than 65 excursions and attractions are available in Svärdsjö. Falun can be reached in 20 minutes. Great for cycling and hiking

Walking distance to Carl Larsson farm and Stora Hyttnäs 650 meters, Sundborn church 900 meters. Close to nature with electric light trails and hiking trails. Only 200 meters to refreshing swimming in Sundbornsån. Summer time is possible to rent sup board. The village sauna by the river can be rented. Lugnet, Dalarna University, Falu center about 13 km, World Heritage Falun - Falu Mine 14 km.

The arena of tranquility is only 4 km away. Experience the 2027 Ski World Championships with us! During this event period, we offer bookings with a minimum stay of five nights. The house is located on the quieter side of the stadium, which means you avoid the worst traffic during the competitions. On the property, there are horses and cats.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Stay in a well-equipped cabin with a made bed, surrounded by red Dalagård houses, open meadows and beautiful nature. With proximity to Carl Larsson's home, Falu Mine and Falun, this is a perfect starting point for those who want to explore Dalarna. Due to the great interest and increasing number of guests for our cottage, we no longer offer breakfast.

Newly-built house on lake plot near Romme Alpin

Welcome to a newly built house on its own lake plot with magical views! In summer, you can enjoy swimming and sun from your own jetty and borrow a rowing boat, SUP and wood-fired hot tub. In the fall, you pick berries and mushrooms directly outside the house. In winter, it is about 13 minutes to Romme Alpin. When there is ice on the lake, you can ice skate and take lovely walks. There is a sauna and fireplace with access to wood for frozen ski enthusiasts.
