Words cannot fully capture the warm feeling I experienced when I opened the door to Miss Roxanne's home and life. Roxanne is an artist whose art adorns the walls, creating a fabulous atmosphere. The house is well-furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linens. The kitchen is well-stocked, making cooking and enjoying family meals easy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the lake steps away. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting Miss Roxanne and Mr.Tom, who lives next door. They are so kind and have great stories about the history of the area and their homes. The pictures do not do the home justice; it's much nicer!

Tania was a great host. Very accommodating and fast with messages and communications. Her house was also clean with plenty amenities.

This house is absolutely magazine worthy! We reserved the house for 4 couples over our wedding weekend in Birmingham. It was the perfect place to have everyone together for the weekend, lots of common areas, the porch is amazing, and plenty of privacy when needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Great host and very beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Thank you!

Tammi went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed, and answered any questions in a timely manner. The tiny home was great and very accessible for fishing. We will be back again next year.

The house is very old but clean and well furnished. The king bed and living room furniture were comfortable. Although we didn’t need the bunk beds, I thought it was unique that both top and bottom bunk beds were full sized. The neighborhood is a little bit run down, and neighbors were too close for our comfort. (We live in the country with no neighbors.) But we did like the house, and I appreciated the prompt and caring communication from Lance. A bonus is the donut shop within walking distance. Their donuts and coffee were delicious!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. My son was competing in the NJROTC Orienteering National Championship at nearby Oak Mountain State Park. David's place was close to everything, but somehow felt miles away. David came to greet us after we arrived. He was attentive and responsive to our needs and concerns. There was a line of powerful storms coming across the southern half of the US during our stay, which was causing tornadoes. He called to let us know where storm shelters in the area were if needed. Fortunately for all they were not necessary. The cabin had everything we needed and, as advertised, nothing we didn't. No tv, no internet. It was nice to disconnect from everything for a bit. At one point the neighbor's dog "Lizard" came and sat with me on the porch for a bit. She got some sausages for her trouble. David made the checkout process extremely simple. My wife and I would certainly stay again if ever in the area. Thank you allowing us to stay David, we appreciate it.

This is the second time we have stayed here with our dogs. It’s very clean, cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Everyone on staff is so kind and will go out of their way to help you with any needs you may have. I highly recommend this tiny home and we will be back!

Our family felt right at home. We loved the privacy of this beautiful home. We always felt safe. The location is very convenient to the interstate. We could not have asked for a better temporary housing experience. We really fell in love with housing amenities like the family room, kitchen, walk-in shower, beautiful large completely fenced backyard, large windows to look out and feel at peace. I was looking for a place close to the grandview hospital and for that, Clint’s place suited me perfectly. It was a quick 5 mins drive. They had a gym that was perfect. The apt had all the amenities and wake up Birmingham are quite responsive to any questions and ready to help. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We stayed for a month and had enough linen and all the utensils needed for cooking everyday. The beds are comfortable and it’s a great place. I only have one recommendation. If the garage fob can be placed along with the apt key in the lockbox it would be easier to just enter the garage with the car once retrieved.

We really enjoyed staying at the farm. My teenage sons enjoyed fishing on a boat, kayaking , paddle boarding. My husband and I enjoyed feeding goats. Steve, Susan and their children are nice and friendly.

Beautiful house, great hosts. This house is located near a beautiful lake and great fishing river. It's close to lots of great restraunts and shopping locations. It's located in a quiet subdivision yet less than 15 minutes from Pell City, less than 10 minutes from the race track and less than an hour from busy Birmingham. Great find.

Cute and cozy tiny home! Everything described was fully met. And even with it being a tiny home, we felt right at home!! We saw there was a grill but we forgot to buy charcoal, so the air fryer saved us!! Glad they had that available!! The only worry we had at time of booking was how the showers may be at the campground since this tiny home didn’t have a shower- but so glad it didn’t stop us bc the entire stay including shower house was wonderful & so clean!! We would def come back here again!!

Great stay, clean and easy access to the highway. Beautiful home. Great host and baked us cookies that were delish. Only 15 mins from downtown and nice restaurants.

Joan's lake getaway was the perfect spot. Nested away from the hustle and bustle of the city; peace awaits you an Joan's place.

This little spot was just what we needed. The home was so cute but what really did it for me was the kitchen. It was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook a family meal. Genuinely such a cute home, we will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area

Amazing place to stay!!! There was 4 of us. Some of us cycled the whole bike trail including the new section! This is the place to stay if you like exploring waterfalls etc.

Spacious, clean, and cozy house — we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described. A special highlight was the excellent water pressure in the shower, which is rare to find in the U.S.

Great place for staying close to Talladega

We had a wonderful time at the log cabin. Peaceful, relaxing and exactly what we were looking for this holiday. The property is gorgeous. The cabin has incredible character while being still comfortable and having the amenities we needed. We found hiking trails just 10 minutes away at Double Oak. Best of all, it was quality time spent enjoying our boys and our pup.
