Our Scandinavian modern-vintage hideaway is tucked away on the edge of the forest. Open the sliding door and have breakfast with bird sounds, pine scent and squirrels around you. Large glass facades, Danish design furniture, a rain shower and a barista corner provide luxurious comfort in the middle of nature. Outside, you can enjoy a shower or bath under the pines, relax in the hammock and a fire pit under the starry sky. The Gorsselse Heide and the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are just around the corner.

Luxury wooded vacation home with sauna

Het Vogelhuisje is located in one of the quietest spots in the Bosrijk Ruighenrode nature park. In the secluded garden, you almost always see squirrels and birds. Three of the four bedrooms, a bathroom (the shower is in the bathtub) and a separate toilet are on the ground floor. The luxurious upstairs bathroom has an infrared sauna and a shower/steam room. The cottage is child-friendly and spacious in design. Fine towels, bed linen and many basic amenities are provided. The cottage is pet-free.

Tiny House the Berkelhut, peace and quiet

Very quiet holiday home in beautiful surroundings. From our Berkelhut you can walk straight into the woods of Velhorst. The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

On a farmyard in the middle of the greenery is a charming wooden cottage with Het Bloemenhuisje. The French doors give access to a private terrace, from where you have a view of the beautiful scenery of the Achterhoek. Here, the deer walk through the backyard, you start a clog path walk from the cottage or cycle the 8 castles route. It is a place to relax, to step out of the world for a while. Give yourself a few days of doing nothing and do what you feel like doing.

Since July 2020, our guest house has been open for bookings: A renovated old barn, located on the grounds of our 1804 farm, located on 4.5 acres of grassland. Ideal for 1-4 people, a 5th guest is welcome. 2 double beds + 1 stretcher. On request: 1 cot and 1 travel bed. It is completely independent. The barn has been renovated while retaining original materials, trendy interior and amazing views of our garden. * Our garden can also be booked as a shoot location

Het Kleine Huuske

The Kleine Huuske is a small but complete cottage in our garden. You sleep in a cozy bedstee and wake up in the morning to birdsong. The cottage has a small kitchen that is equipped with an induction hob and a small oven for baking rolls in the morning, for example. There is free WiFi, and a TV with Chromecast so you can watch your own series. Outside, there is a terrace with two chairs, a table and possibly a fire pit.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the green nature. Hidden in our farmyard, in the middle of the scenic landscape between de cities Deventer, Zutphen and Lochem. You have an unobstructed view from the cottage and you can enjoy this unique place in the hot tub. Changeover days are mostly on monday and friday. We provide bed linen, towels and kitchen supplies. We rent the hot tub separately, ask for it when booking.

Go out in the area and relax. Enjoy the many villages, forests and beautiful estates, nice restaurants, bars and markets. Cycle or walk for hours in nature and then dream away at home in the house by the pond to the song of the many birds.

BijWien is located in leafy Berkeloord, a monumental neighborhood in Lochem from the beginning of the last century. At an appropriate distance from our house, is the Wikkelhouse. BijWien is located in the heart of one of the most attractive regions of the Netherlands, with beautiful scenery and many attractive villages and (Hanseatic) cities, hiking and cycling routes.
