Het Vogelhuisje is located in one of the quietest spots in the Bosrijk Ruighenrode nature park. In the secluded garden, you almost always see squirrels and birds. Three of the four bedrooms, a bathroom (the shower is in the bathtub) and a separate toilet are on the ground floor. The luxurious upstairs bathroom has an infrared sauna and a shower/steam room. The cottage is child-friendly and spacious in design. Fine towels, bed linen and many basic amenities are provided. The cottage is pet-free.

The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

B&B Roes is newly built in 2021, detached with private entrance, terrace at the front and rear overlooking a nature reserve. Fully equipped: private bathroom and breakfast room with fridge, coffee/tea facility and microwave. I serve a full breakfast for €12.50 per person. Please book in advance. Do you like peace and luxury in a beautiful green area? Then staying overnight in our B&B is a wonderful option. Pip between the pillows on the wide windowsill, have a drink and enjoy!

On a farmyard in the middle of the greenery is a charming wooden cottage with Het Bloemenhuisje. The French doors give access to a private terrace, from where you have a view of the beautiful scenery of the Achterhoek. Here, the deer walk through the backyard, you start a clog path walk from the cottage or cycle the 8 castles route. It is a place to relax, to step out of the world for a while.
