Great place to stay for little money, very much downtown Ljubljana. Hostel is a very walkable distance away from the train station & sits basically at the beginning of downtown.

very nice place. tips if you are doing hiking you can have a lunch pack, tasty and big for 10 euros. also very good breakfast

Ema’s place is beautifully located in peaceful nature surroundings. There is a lot of space for the kids to play and they loved the many animals. Our kids could use the bicycles and cars of Ema’s kids and they even put up a little floated pool to cool down. Ema is very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed a local and fresh breakfast every day. Loved it here!

Overall its a good stay. Parking is little congested so be careful with big cars. However good value for money and overall a good experience

Everything is great - cheaper prices in the region just don't exist

The location is perfect—calm, within walkable distance from the lake and from the bigger towns nearby. The apartment is reasonable for the price, the bed is huge, everything is tidy, we liked the balcony even while it rained outside. Although this apartment comes with no kitchen, Monica gave all the utensils we needed, so we managed without eating out always. Overall, the location, the responsive and helpful host, and the clean, compact space make it a great choice for shorter stays.

We booked this room basicly to have somewhere to sleep our first night in Slovenia, but Boruts place was suprisingly good! We stayed for a very short period of time but wish we had stayed longer to explore the area. Borut was flexible with the breakfast as was normally served from 08:00, which we appreciated a lot (We got served 07:30). And the breakfast was good! (Price 10 €/person)

I loved staying here! The rooms are cosy and clean, kitchen is huge and full of everything you need. There is parking, and good wifi. The area is beautiful and so fresh, and a small village is a 30 minute walk away with a good shop, cafes and petrol. Reception has friendly people there to help with anything. I didn’t want to leave.

Lavender Hill is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. The route to the location, the beautiful spaces on the property, the care of the buildings and the fantastic swimming pool with garden with amazing views was amazing. The room was very nice to stay in. Dejan gave tips and occasionally asked if we had a nice day when we met him. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a few wonderful quiet days in a beautiful environment.

Dejan is a great host who makes you feel like a friend. The place is super clean and tidy, in a beautiful quiet location, and perfect for resting your soul. We can't wait to get back.

Great location to visit main attractions of Slovenia. Samo’s place is exactly as presented, clean, well equipped and cozy. Big terrace is also an advantage to rest after busy day 😀. Highly recommended!

The staff are all great, helpful and friendly people, and suggested a hike that I really enjoyed. I felt so comfortable and relaxed at Hotel Jelka I hope I can come back again! The room is beautiful and has a great porch, I loved having that view. The food is excellent, I ate dinners and breakfast there and brought dinner leftovers for my lunches, and the view from the porch is also amazing. I walked from the hotel to a trailhead and enjoyed having access to beautiful trails right from the hotel.

A real gem on the Slovenian coast. We were warmly welcomed by Sonja. After an extensive tour, she took the time to inform us about sights and activities in the area. Later, recommendations followed via sms. The house itself is also really great. A kitchen with everything on it, a lovely lounge sofa, luxurious bathroom and even a washing machine. We especially enjoyed the lovely terrace. With the sliding door open, it is wonderful to have breakfast in the sun with a view of Triest. There is so much to see and do in the area, walking, cycling, drinking coffee in Triest, .... too much for the days we had. We will definitely come back here again.
