The gite was great, it was very clean with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The countryside location is lovely. It is conveniently located for visiting D day beaches and Bayeux and easy to get to Caen ferry port. Veronique and Thierry were very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries we had. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Maryse, Phillipe & family were very welcoming and friendly from the start. They speak very little English, but I speak very little French - this is no problem as they are always smiling and very helpful and for me this just enhances the experience. There is lots of space for vehicles, and they even let me store my motorbike in their shed. The Gite is absolutely immaculate! As soon as you enter the door it smells so fresh and clean, you can tell a lot of effort goes into the cleaning regime at this property, perfect. The shower is incredible too!It has everything you need for you stay and is very comfortable. Thank you Maryse & Philipe, I hope to see you again in the future.

Very spacious, very well-equipped and welcoming accommodation. Some chocolates were waiting for us on arrival: we found this small touch very thoughtful. The space was perfectly equipped for a long stay. Great for a long stay.

We had a great time at this amazing house where you immediately feel good thanks to the welcome and responsiveness of our host. These few days spent with family will be unforgettable and the services offered are certainly something! And what about those wonderful sunsets seen from the sofa! We're already looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse of which returning to the pool after a busy day out was a favourite of our teens. nice and clean with all that you need to self cater provided. good bed linen, towels and robes supplied. The village is outside of Caen , there are no amenities within the small village and we decided to eat out during our days out and could easily cook in the evenings with supermarkets within driving distance. A quiet and quaint village in the Normandy Countryside with the main towns and D Day Beaches a easy drive on good roads.

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

Very nice small accommodation in the middle of nature, very relaxing, great!

The host was welcoming and immediately gave us the information to access the accommodation. The location is perfect because it is in the heart of Bayeux and 2 minutes from the cathedral. I highly recommend the owner and the accommodation.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Milene’s place. It was so clean, just as pictured, plenty of coffee, comfortable beds. We could not have found a better place to stay. Conveniently and centrally located with great restaurants and attractions nearby. I would totally recommend!!

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach her. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking to get away from the city for a few days.

Very pleasant stay in Thierry's beautiful accommodation... bright, very functional, tastefully furnished. A nice bottle of cider on arrival!! and garden furniture the next day to fully enjoy the good weather. Don't miss Clecy and its miniature museum, 30 minutes away.

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located close to the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, a very pleasant scent immediately entered our noses and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was available under the stairs in the entrance area, which we greatly appreciated, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was immaculately clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. Accommodation fully compliant and even beyond, David thought of a whole bunch of practical amenities. Ideally located, feet in the water! Quiet! And great bedding (which is rare on a sofa). Would definitely stay again.

My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.

The apartment is absolutely sublime, carefully decorated, and with a view that we would dream of every day!
