We are only 20 minutes from Whiteface ski area and nearby hiking and mountain biking trails as well as lakes and rivers for swimming and paddling. Dog friendly private suite

This is an older style motel with a covered porch along the front. We converted 2 rooms into a small suite by adding a French door to connect them. We also added a back door that opens up directly into a fenced in yard that is private and surrounded by woods. The motel is set back off the road right next to a trail head. There is a total of 4 single rooms and the dog friendly suite on the end. Ideal location if traveling with a group or need a place to meet up with the whole family.

A 1900 farmhouse that has been in the family for generations. Recently renovated to accommodate up to 5 guests, it is clean with simple furnishings and a SPECTACULAR VIEW! Located RIGHT ON NYS RTE 86 (close to the road) with easy access to nearby attractions. The house is split in 2 and is designed for 2 families. I rent out "The View" using airbnb exclusively. My wife and I reside in the back portion of the house with a separate entrance and separate parking.

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin is situated in the woods and is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Tyler was an amazing host! He made us feel right at home! My boyfriend and I love the trees and this was the perfect place to stay we felt like we can have a private place to go to after a long day that was nice and cozy as well as being near Lake placid and Keene if we wanted to go out and have fun! Tree house is only 15 min drive from Lake Placid! Beautiful area and amazing Tree house definitely recommend!

Roy's place was amazing for our trip to Lake Placid! It was easy to get to and conveniently located near the ski hill, High Falls Gorge, and many other famous attractions. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring. The place was exceptionally clean, with plenty of fresh towels, extra sheets, and all the essentials to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the weekend, which made meal prep super easy. The cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches throughout the space made us feel right at home. Roy was also an excellent host ! We will definitely be staying here again on our future trips to Lake Placid! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed Tammy's place a ton. The downstairs space (shared) has everything you'd need, and the pool table is very well maintained. I happened to stay there while the other rooms were empty, but my guess is that even if the rooms are all full, it still wouldn't feel crowded. If you go at a time the other rooms are booked, as long as you're okay with potentially waiting for the bathroom, I don't think you'd mind. Finally, if you use Apple Maps, do not use the address provided. It took me miles away. Just put Ice Jam Inn.

Jeanne's Butternut House was an incredible home base for hiking the high peaks. I can't say enough good things about our proactive and friendly host Jeanne, the gorgeous garden around her house, and the space itself. The photos don't do justice to the rustic charm of the unit. The bedroom, with it's lofted ceiling, was a wonderful respite after a long day of hiking to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well stocked and Jeanne even left some fresh grocery items for us to use in the fridge and on the counter had we so chosen. She was also on top of communication giving timely directions prior to arrival, upon arrival, and before checking out. I'd recommend Jeanne's Butternut House for anyone looking to stay in the area and hope to be back again ourselves!

Melinda’s was a great host, this place is in a great location. the drive to and from lake placid was beautiful and not too long. I made the mistake of thinking that this studio apartment was a separate entity and then realized it was underneath Melinda’s home. But Melinda gave very safe, kind, welcoming vibes, so all was well.
