The house is situated in the centre of Bukittinggi on Panorama Street, with only 5-minute walk to Ngarai Sianok and 10-minute walk to the famous Jam Gadang. Lovely traditional home stay with friendly hosts and delicious Padang meals. We got to experience rice planting, watching how Rendang is made, finding cinnamon and cocoa trees and seeing the kids fish for our dinner from the pond. The village is very scenic with pretty gardens by the rice paddies, framed by high peaks and a view of stunnning Mt Marapi and its daily puffs of volcanic smoke. We learn a lot about local culture and it is close to caves and other interesting sights

I was with my husband, staying one night at this homestay. We originally wanted to find a place that was quiet and out of the crowd. When we arrived, we were welcomed by you and you who manage the homestay. The front room and the room I stayed in were clean and tidy. I was a little surprised to see the bathroom because of my experience, this time I stayed at a “homestay” that provided bath tub facilities because I usually only meet in a 4-5 star class hotel. For those who like a quiet place, this homestay is perfect for visiting because it may be a bit far from the city center and around the homestay there are still many rice fields so the view is very beautiful and natural in the morning and evening. The food served is very good, like cooking in your own home. But for the water in the bathroom it needs to be upgraded again, because the water coming out of the faucet is a bit small so it's a bit long to fill the water in the bath tub. Garbage cans in the living area can also be added in number. But, overall this homestay is OK. Thank you for the service. I hope the amenities can be improved again. See you later.
